dadude77 already answered it in your thread.

Full Tilt Shortcuts

Make sure to get Full Tilt Shortcuts, and not Full Tilt Table Opener. It's only another $5, so you might as well get the whole she-bang. That way, you can have 1-click all-ins and stuff. Read the FAQ and you'll see that there's a lot that you can automize (if that's a word??)

Yeah, it's completely legal.

So I discovered something about my lcd monitor today. I was planning on buying a new one, but then I started playing around in it's display settings. I had the resolution set to 1024x768 and I was 9-tabling. I saw the 1280x1024 option and decided to try that. To my surprise, the picture was crystal clear and I had a lot more space on my screen!

So I went from:

1024x768 9-tabling

to..

1280x1024 12-tabling

Now, I can keep up with the action, but my computer can't. With FTP Shortcuts running, it lags terribly. I don't know what the problem may be.. GFX Card? Processor? RAM? I'll keep messing around with it, hopefully, I can get everything to run smoothly. I don't have Poker Tracker, or Elephant, or any other of that stuff -- just Full Tilt and FTP Shortcuts. So I don't see why it's so... overloaded.

On another note, I feel like I've stepped up my game quite substantially. And to compliment that, I've been running pretty good for the past 2 days. $400 upswing FTW!! According to my calculated hourly rate, I have to hit a nasty downswing because 80% of it isn't mine -- equity wise. Still looks good imo.

I'd like to believe that my 10% ROI at these $7.50s is sustainable, but we'll see. I know for sure that >10% is possible on the $3.80s though, so maybe there's hope.

Almost enough to move up another notch and play with MiskoKvo.. he he..

I would advise you to stop using the fancy display and turn off avatars, it would probably work smoother that way
sweet blog anyhow

Thanks deVall3y, but I already tried someone else's advice and it works like a charm. Basically, they said to switch back to Windows Classic. I was skeptical that it would make any difference, but I tried it, and hey, it runs smoothly now.

I'm trying to hang onto that 10% ROI for those 7.50 Super Turbos, but it's slipping away. As of now, it's at 9%. I've only played about 700 of them, so my sample size isn't really accurate yet. I had planned on getting in a lot of volume this weekend, but I don't think I will be able to. Oh, and when I hit $1500, I won't be moving up. Instead, I'll be withdrawing $500. (hopefully I won't be having the dreaded doomswitch that everyone talks about) Then when I grind it back up to $1500 again, that's when I'll consider stepping it up another limit.

I've noticed that there are a lot of regulars in these 7.50s. I could name 4 or 5 of them off the top of my head whom I nearly play with on a daily basis. It's funny though because it feels like a competition. I knock him out on one SnG and he knocks me out on my other table.

Anyways, decent profit today. I thought I'd be down at least $100, but I was actually up $50.

KK's cracked twice by AA's.
QQ's lost 4x in a row.
AQ into AK.
etc., etc.,

Villain kept waking up with monster hands and I was constantly kept under dominating situations.

I also saw a ridiculous number of sets being hit one me. It's still irking me to this moment. Somehow or another, I still left with a profit, so no attitude form me.

nice. If i will want to go into more grinding at those super turbos, i wil ldefinitely buy those FT shortcuts.
Btw, i send an email to FT 2 days ago for them to allow me playing more than 12 tables at once. Still didnt get an answer from them, so far 12 tables seemed fairly light to handle, maybe some difficulties when on bubble and u need to take really fast decisions. But i think i can handle at least 3 more tables.
BTW does those FT shurtcuts enable me to use keyboard only, while playing? So hitting a special key would insta ush allin or fold ?
And gl with your blog. I kidna wish, they had similar super turbos on poker stars. Anyone knows why they dont do it? It would be so easy then to achieve supernova there for me :)
Sorry if i went bit offtopic there.

Right now 12-tables seems to be my comfort zone although at times it gets to be a bit much. Whenever there's <4 players on 5-6 tables everything is flashing like crazy!

And yes, FT shortcuts does enable you to use the keyboard only, I believe Miskokvo uses it that way, but I don't. I have it set up to where I either click the mouse and go all-in, or click the mouse and fold.

I could very well see Stars adding some sort of Super Turbo equivalent to their site though. I've never played there, but is sure would rake in a lot of rake for them. I don't see why not..

Thanks for the good luck! I will most certainly need it!!

Another great day for me in poker! I now have enough buyins (>100) to move up to the $15s!! I'm extremely happy, but at the same time I'm nervous. Here's why:

$3.80 Sup Turb = $50 swings...

$7.50 Sup Turb = $100 swings...

sooo...

$15.00 Sup Turb = $200 swings?!

A lot of stress on the mind for me to be swinging around $200 at a time. As I did the last time I moved up, I'll just sleep on it and come to a conclusion possibly tomorrow. It's crazy because I wait for these moments for so long and when they finally do come, I have second thoughts: Maybe I should stay down here for a bit longer? Maybe I need to play a thousand more? Maybe I'm not ready? What if I have a monster downswing? etc., etc.,

Some quick stats:

$2.25 Turbo --- ROI = 14% (423 games)
$3.80 Super Turbo --- ROI = 4.5% (2225 games)
$7.50 Super Turbo --- ROI = 8% (1028 games)

(part 2 of the first graph ever posted on my blog.. )

well i would suggest mixing $15 in your game, and still playing $7.5 ones for now. Several days ago i had downswig of 30 buyins in l an hour of play time on $3 super turbos.
But if you can mentally cope with it, you should definitely go to $15 and move down when u loss 20buyins.

Btw: is there any way i could set position of my mouse on FT shortcuts? It would be great i didnt have to move mouse over the table, so it would automatically put my mouse on active table.
And what size of the betting do u use? Can u post a screenshot of your settings there plz :)

Hmm. I think I'm gonna set a 25BI stop loss limit, thanks wayman.

And yes you can have FT Shortcuts automatically move your mouse to the table that needs your attention.. I turned it off b/c I didn't like the mouse jumping around on me, lol. But I recently found out that if for some reason, you don't want it to move around automatically, you can hold down Shift -- and when you let go, it will resume.

I have it set up to where the betting amount is automatically set to be a number large enough to put me all-in.

These settings will have it preset to be all-in preflop and to bet 2/3 pot on flop, turn, and river.

hi, sorry for your downswing

can you write here yours thoughts (notes) of diferences between 7,5$-15$?

or why you have downswing? (bad luck of cards, good players, etc)

Well, my observations are remarkably similar to yours. Opponents calling ranges are a lot looser than the $7.50s and I couldn't win flips or favorites if my last breath of air depended on it. I kept finding myself being blinded down to 3-4BB and having to shove with Ax. I think the downswing is a mixture of both bad cards and good players.

I set a stop-limit of 25BI so I won't be playing them again. Took a $400 hit to my bankroll in less than an hour. Erased 1/4 of my BR. Talk about speechless. Overall, I'm not mad though. I played my best and there's no use in getting pissed over something you have no control over (however the cards may fall). But I am disappointed.

Somewhere in the future, I'm planning on making the transition from low-level Super Turbos to med-stakes Turbos after I grind my BR back up. I know for sure that my push/fold game will be much better than the competition, but I am worried about my postflop play for the early and mid stages. I'll have to work on that. I'm also curious as to the SnGs that Stars has to offer. Only reason why I haven't played there yet is because their $50 sign up bonus is really low.

(I really do hope you absolutely CRUSHthese $15s when you get the chance Misko. Do it for me maaannn!!! lol )
