1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 raises 180, 6 folds

Blinds are going up next hand, don't know what to do, so I did probably the worst thing - folded. Didn't want just to call, becouse I would determine myself to play only for set value (and I thought it will ruin my stack, but I'll still have about 10BB), and raising looked too looose, while still 8 handed and the blinds are small. Only read I had on villain was that he minbeted the fullhouse and thus went with it really cheaply to showdown, he seemed tight so far.

I think a call is ok because you can still come out of the flop with an over-pair fairly regularly (like 40% of the time) plus the chance of a set. Also if he is that tight there is a good chance he will be fairly soft on the flop so if an ace doesn't come out raise/fold the flop and you will get the chips more often than not.

Hi all,

I prefer a call here. I don't like reshoving because of stack sizes.

Call and check/raise when you hit a set or overpair.

Don't bluff postflop though. If you bluff postflop with this hand I think it would make a call preflop -EV.
