PokerStars - 80/160 Ante 20 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 11.2 BB (VPIP: 36.67, PFR: 1.75, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 62)
SB: 38.46 BB (VPIP: 29.56, PFR: 23.51, 3Bet Preflop: 5.56, Hands: 287)
Hero (BB): 6.59 BB

3 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.88 BB) Hero has K♥ J♦

fold, SB raises to 38.34 BB and is all-in, Hero ???

I have a few hands of him shoving from sb, and it's true that i'm short stack and he should push wider but i'm not so far from the mid stack. I think this hand is a clear call sb vs bb but seeing on sng wizard he should push around 55% to be profitable and i didn't see him pushing any hand until this one.

Cumps ;)

You need to double up to have a change to cash and if you fold hands like this the SB can shove any 2 profitable here.

So when i'm short sometimes i could call some hands that aren't +Ev? Because if the mid stack was bigger my call it's more clear but he is close and could do some mistakes. I call this hand but i had this doubt after reviewing the hand.

Cumps ;)

definately call, pretty good spot actually. you can shove any 2 broadways at 10BB or below actually

unless SB has no idea of ICM or a super nit then it's a clear call.
The only other reason to fold here is if BTN is also a maniac or calling station.

In this case though with the stats we see I would call.

Clear call if hes pushing any2 as he should, but only a break even call if he pushed 50%

50.0%, 22+ Kx+ Q2s+ Q8o+ J5s+ J9o+ T6s+ T9o 96s+ 98o 85s+ 75s+ 65s 54s

This is a +ev call as short stack. If you were the 2nd in chips this would be an easy fold.
