Hi, my name is Paulo (Paul). I'm portuguese (so, sorry for the grammatical mistakes i can make) and i want to find a way to improve my game somehow. The portuguese community is dead, and i don't have the motivation to create a thread or a blog there, to get somebody help to improve my poker skills.
So i decided to create a blog in English community with the aim of posting hands, graphics and doubts about strategies to adopt.
I like to play cash games (Microlimits, off course - one of my goals, is get out of it) and i already saw the W34z3l series - Walkthrough, but i feel like i can't improve and consolidate knowledge by myself.
I need you guys, i need somebody tells me which way do I have to go to get out of the microlimits? What i need to do. Because i already play poker for a while and the best i could do was play NL10 for a couple times, losing money and get back to NL5.

So, thank you for the time spent and I'll be waiting for some feedback

P.S. I'm new at this blog things, i gone need your help in this too..._drink:_drink:

Hi again,

My goal in sharing my story with you in the short term is:
- be a NL10 regular winner
- gain hands-over and database review habits, and how to do it
- Develop habits of odds and Pot odds calculations.

I just play for fun e don't look further. I'm tired of up and downs and get into a tilt mode and loose amounts of money.
Portugal is currently playing in a shared liquidity market with Spain e France, and waiting for Italy, now are more players playing in PS (the only room available in Portugal) and i fell like i can beet the pool of NL5, but i'm struggling to beat the level cause my game is not improving.
Later on, i put some hands to discuss with you guys.

P.S. How i put graphs of HM2 into here??

In this spot you have POT Odds 27,59% and your equity is 34,16% vs this specific hands. You cant fold it because its EV+

The hand you posted above is not that bad. Whether you should call the shove is very close. You need to win this about 29% of the time to make profit and with FD and gutshot it might be close. You can put this on Equilab and give different ranges to both villains. But because this probably is quite close and the rake is big, folding would be just fine also.

btw: I noticed that your thread is in the "introduce yourself" board, but it really looks like a blog. So would you like me to move your thread to the blog board? :)

What filip212 said about the hand is pretty accurate, but our equity depends a bit on villains' ranges. If we think they can sometimes shove with just a nut flush draw and add some better flush draws in their ranges our equity could drop to 27% or even less.. So it is close :)

If you don't mind and if you think is better, so yeah, you can move the thread to the blog board.
Thanks for the advice
