I think this play wasn't good idea at this limit. I thought CO would release his hand since he wasn't aggressive and I knew him previously but he didn't What do you think ? Should I avoid such moves ?

Against so loose opponent I am definitely trying to avoid such moves. I am just Raise/Folding.
