Hey,
My pokerstars acoount has been hacked.
PS frozed my account and I got information in a message:

[balance pre-hack] : 369.24$
[Dump] 155$ & 133.50 dumped. Lost 75$ in casino play
[Recovered] 3.97$ & 0.36$
[final balance & total loss] 10.69$, loss of 358.55$

Could somebody explain what does ' dump' mean in this context?

And the essence:

What can I do in this situation??

Thanks in advance.

Somebody "dumped" your money at the pokertables. Either to someone specific, in that case you would get most of it back, or just spewing against random people.

Better password. Keeping it secret. RSA Token. Change your PWs for your critical logins (e-mail).

It's somewhat unlikely that your pokerstars account got "hacked". Usually your e-mail gets compromised or something else and you have the same login/password for everything.
If someone could "hack" pokerstars accounts they would most definitly not just fuck around for 5 minutes of fun with your $300.

Still sorry to hear that you lost that money.

Sorry to hear that :f_mad:

I think Netgames999 already answered this pretty well. It is important that you have a strong password that you don't use anywhere else. I think Stars also supports 2 factor auth via SMS. And then ofc you can buy their RSA token. If you use that, then I guess Stars would pay you back the money if Stars gets hacked and you lose money because of that. But as already said above, it is more likely that your some other accounts / e-mail has been compromised and you might have used the same info on Stars? In that case Stars probably thinks you are always responsible of your account and if someone gets access to your password they won't pay anything back.
