fold flop cb 36%(11), raise flop cb 60%(10)

He doesnt fold to cb-s much and reraises them a lot so how do you play this?
After reviewing i think i should call flop bcs by reraising im at best 60-40 getting it in vs flush draw or a huge dog against a set and i wont allow him to bluff anymore. So c/c flop and turn and fold river mby? I dont think he will bluff 3 streets here.

Hello,

Flop: I would likely Bet/Call and reevaluate turn.
Turn: Depending on his bet I might Check/Call but if he is betting very big then I think I would find a fold here.

Best regards,

i dont like 8$ cb into 15$ pot, screams for raise not only vs this opp,

i d also go for b/c, c/c, c/f line, alternative is maybe b/f turn as blockbet+protection smaller than he d bet if we know his betting patterns, but if he is agro, he sees this as a weakness bcs we d c/r him turn when strong mostly, right? and also should be more expensive bcs we should then b at least smallish/f river also.. ?!

so prolly that 1st line is better, also given that he is less likely to have sd here bcs of his position, so fd much more likely or set, & given the read, in the mentioned ine, c/f river should be pretty clear then.

also> if he bets turn more i also just fold there.. + if his wtsd is higher, going broke on flop shouldnt be also bad, imo.

bet $11 on flop. Against the raise I am simply folding. He will never do that with a top pair and even with a bare fd he is unlikely to raise. 6 :club:5 :club: is what he might have but other then that he will have a set.

But Ceasar, he has 'raise flop cb 60%(10)' Isn't folding too weak?

(10) means he did that in 10 cases. That's not a huge samplesize. And furtmore he is doing it vs early raiser after coldcalling. It's too often the set imo.

i joined pstars some weeks ago and play some 200fr atm to build up a roll at stars. these stats look like mine besides my vpip and pfr are a little bit higher and i also thought i played this hand, but i cant find it in my hem. whats utg+2 screen name?

in general, vs a good player its really hard to play tptk oop. if it was blind vs late pos or co vs bu and u dont have nitty stats, i like to 3bet and getting it in on the flop since the raiser is repping a super narrow range on this flop and you are too when 3betting, u might get a bluff shove here. calling his flop raise makes your hand totally face up which i dont like vs good opp. they can take free cards on turn when needed and barrel when ahead. or simply give up with total air because your hand is face up. also if turn goes check-check u cant call many rivers and if villain is good he will bluff you off the best hand a lot.

in this spot i would also suggest b/f flop even against this player simply because its utg vs utg and your range is so strong here that he should expect your range to continue often. but then again, i guess vs me u still have to stack off here because i would think that u will fold anything to my raise except AA, KK, (AK). hence you are folding a lot of your utg raising range and the flop raise is profitabel. once u see me flatting AK here in utg vs utg and not raising this flop then my flop raising range in this spot gets too polarised imo. then u have to play back theoretically. but in practice position is too big, so b/f always is the safe and i guess neutral ev play.

im really not totally sure here. tell me the screen name of villain. if its not me and i have notes on him i tell u what i would do.

i abs dislike b/f in this situation, esp if we d be thinking for most of timebank & then just fold its so obv we can be fooled around in these spots, and r on similar boards ip with anything becomes so much exploitable..

and i am talking abs from pers exp here.. i was usually b/f in these spots.. and then just realized ppl are somehow often r me here .. so i just kept shoving back and getting tptk vs some fd or just c/c & even c/r on blank turn to get it in vs some underpair.. they quickly forgot abt raising me then! ;)

i d maybe 1st time fold to him here, but no more.. -ev in longrun imo

Villain seems like a good player. As played he def. has you beat after his 5bet on the flop.

I guess I have to agree with b/c reevaluate.

utg+2 is wowsick

i have 1k hands on him. his flop aggr. is extraordinarily high but his turn aggr. then is very low. hence, he wont continue his bluff on every scarecard (which would be any :club:, any 3,4,5,6,7,8) as he should imo. he might be the type of guy how raises KQ on flop for free sd and just continues to barrel when hitting a Q or K. as a consequence c/r(ai) on a blank turn makes no sense because his turn betting range has u beat too often.

u can either b/c flop, c/f turn (he usually has u beat once he bets the turn) and b/f river.
or, which would be my line vs him oop in order to balance my 3-bet bluffs, u can 3bet small (2.5x) in order to induce a light (bluff- or semibluff-) shove.

however, his utg stats seem to be very tight. thats what makes this spot so hard to play. if it was mp vs mp or mp vs lp i would 3bet 2.5x on the flop and super snap insta monkey call a shove. _cool:

true. thats why i decide what to do against a raise before cbetting often. if i fold, i do it quickly. once u take your timebank and then fold u really have to pay attention not to get exploited. i made this experience on 400-1k fr on party vs tough opponents. now i use this myself
