UTG wins 190.5 BB

In this spot I felt like villain could not really have many valuecombos, because he would surely continue betting with all sets ott on this board, and if he checked, it would be to check-raise, not to check-call. Of course 6x is possible. Should not be too many combos utg, though, and some players might actually lead with it otr. Exploitatively I should probably overfold this spot (when do they ever xr river as a bluff on these stakes yada yada yada, and it is hard for him to show up with a bluff here) but if I am ever going too bluffcatch here I guess my hand is the one to do it with? It´s like the best hand I ever have in this spot (considering I basically can´t have 6x)...

Now one might ask why I bet so big otr, but I was just fishing for a call by some hand like Qx or even weaker that might easily suspect I could be bluffing with some busted draw on this runout and on this board.

But I guess one could make an argument for a smaller river bet.

Turn bet could be bigger ofc, but I do not think it is mandatory because I expect villain to 2barrel most draws with decent equity, so I just want some value from hands like JJ,TT, AK, 6x etc. I actually think it could be smaller just as well.

Please spare me comments about preflop. Thx.

Well you are right, as an exploit you should overfold in this spot...
villain is not only raising here, he is shoving here...

even if the line doesn`t makes sense, he will have it in most of the times and vs this sizing let it go anyways...

Pre: It is just fine, i have a mixed strategy including calling sometimes and 3betting sometimes....

Ok with it until the river where I'd fold. As you said they simply don't use this weird line as a bluff nearly as often as they should for you to be bluffcatching.

By the way, I don't think you are top range here, don't you have 99, 44, 56s-67s at least sometimes ?

I think I could have 44, 99, even QQ, almost never 6x, though. I would probably raise flop with my sets most of the time.

When I said "best hand I have" I meant not the absolute top of my range (I would expect to win here with a boat nearly all the time), but best hand to bluffcatch, if I ever want to do that.

You actually have 99 and maybe 44 OTR, because you can just call OTF. I think your turn sizing is probably bad if you would have TPTK+ many people can check his draws or mid pairs, I would say that his range is a bit polarized by certain hands which he check/fold almost always and then hands which he gonna check/call. So I would make it bigger like 2/3 at least.
Then the river bet I would make it smaller, because now his range is more linear, he has lot of marginal hands from which we want to get value.
You also have sometimes 7d6d, Ad6d or 66.

Could you not just check back the river? I haven't played in quite a while so am just browsing hands on forums, so just have at me if i'm being silly, but what does he call with that we beat with TPTK? Or are you just expecting him to bluff alot in this situation?

So you don't flat 6♦:7♦: and 5♦:6♦: pre ? Maybe even A♦:6♦: ? It's possible but if you have them I suppose you call flop and turn with those.

Your best bluffcatch is your best hand with that line, if you have fulls and trips in your range you can't say "I must call TP because it's my best bluffcatch", no it's not. Fold your TP and call with better. They don't bluff half enough anyway.

I think checking back river would be missing value from villain´s Qx, JJ, TT.
