Hey guys!

I've recently written a new, super extensive guide (almost as extensive as this one) that I posted on my blog. I wrote this gude for:

1) Beginners who are new to playing poker and don't quite know how to get connected with other poker players
2) Introverts who have a hard time connecting with other people because they don't know how to approach people, what to say and how to stay in touch
3) Experienced poker players who want to connect with more like-minded poker players to create small mastermind groups, and find mentors that will help them improve their game faster

From the guide, you can learn:

  • How to find poker mentors and advisors that will help you climb up the stakes faster
  • How to build relationships with other successful poker players and coaches and keep in touch with them
  • How to get the most out of online communities, including skype groups and online forums

I included a lot of anecdotes, word-for-word scripts and real life examples to the guide, and (just like in this guide) specific action steps that you can use to put the theory into practice right away.

Note: While the guide isn't written directly for poker players (which is why I'm not publishing it on Pokerstrategy), the strategies work just as well in the poker world and I've taught the same strategies to my clients and students within my mastermind group.

Good day /afternoon / evening SF,

I have just start (again) with poker after a few very busy months. (6 months!)
During this time I have really tried to spend quality time working my way though your articles.
This has been much harder than I first thought due to having so many things going on.
But now I am able to apply some time to reading these articles. And I am looking forward to seeing the end results, which I am going to report back on in my blog.

I came across this post for the quick guide to Surrounding Yourself with Successful People but the link you posted doesn't work. It redirects me to the picture in the post.

How can I find this guide?

Many thanks for giving so much to this community.

My regards

Matt

Regarding the system introduced in chapter 6. Clearing your head + Stress removal:

Why did I need so much paper and the paper folders in the first place? By reading the chapter + your answers to others' questions on the topic I came to the conclusion that the A4 sheets were important for the brainstorming part so that I'm only focusing on one thing at a time and organizing afterwards. When done the initial brainstorming and carrying the notepad with me, I only need to add stuff to the lists from my notepad and don't really need the A4 sheets in between, right?

As for the paper folders, there's no use for them in the guide. You replied to someone else a long time ago that you'll write about it later but looks like you forgot to add it on your lists ;) Anyways, did I get it right that I don't actually need them at all if I use the system like it is in the guide?

And for the paper sheets I've used, are they just trash once I've got the tasks on my actual lists but not done yet?

Thanks for the guide, it's looking and feeling good so far and I'm looking forward to applying more!
