Hi all,
I have been play poker and as well, member of this community for long time, unfortunately, due unforeseen circumstances, I have been away from the tables as from this community for a while and as I have return, I found, simply, carnage!

Poker rooms, where I had money, disappeared
Rooms, still active, where I had money with my cashier empty
(and I am talking of big rooms as well) I try to contact them (obviously the one still alive) and nobody seems able to give me an explanation!

Thanks God, I withdraw big amounts from each rooms before I went away and just live $100 about, on each room.

As said, the rooms still alive, doesn't have the money anymore and the matter is still under investigation(??????)

The bad news is that some rooms doesn't exist anymore, fly away with my money

I will be very appreciate if somebody can help me to understand if the poker still exist, what's going on and why many rooms haven't give away the bankrolls before go dead.

Thanks in advance and of course I am glade I am back here at least the community still exist (I haven't check if I still got money here as well :f_rolleyes: )

Hey kiromanAAKK,

Welcome back! :welcome:

I remember you and didn't think you have been gone for that long, but I checked when you made your last post and it really was over 2 years ago... Time goes fast :wtf:

I can tell you that poker is not dead It is weird that so many rooms where you player have closed. What rooms were those? :f_rolleyes:
I think some rooms also take some amount from your account if it is inactive for too long. Years ago when I played at unibet and then stopped playing there, I got a message saying that my account will be closed soon or something like that. So maybe this happened to you? Weird.. I think the best thing you can do is to contact their support and ask about it.

Pokersites are not banks. And they should not be treated that way. Normally they have sleazy terms like "If you don't log in your account during 6 months we will take x amount for "account management fee" and charge x% interest from your remaining balance".

Past 5 years I've as well experienced sites closing by 24 hour warning. In this situation they have to pay your balance, but for example VIP points or rakeback are very often not paid in this situation. I experience this couple years back with Turbopoker.fr.

As well if site doesn't use 2 step verification methods you are always in somewhat of a risk to loose your money to hackers pretty much any day.

So be careful, never keep more money in any site than you need for buy-ins (bankaccount is more safe). If you can I'd recommend using credit card for first deposits. In situations where site might freeze your funds for whatever reason, they are more likely to at least give back your deposit since you can claim compensation from your bank. --> This advice I add mostly since here's probably bunch of people taking advantage of Sportsbetting & Casino bonuses and sometimes you might face situation where site refuses to pay out.

To keep on track off your money, keep simple spread sheet (either notepad or desktop note) where you right down all money which is considered "bankroll".

Unibet: x€
Stars: x$ + x$ in Tournament $
Skrill / Bank: x€
Party: x€
.....
Total: x€

And so on... You should write as well poker related "debts" (If you send your friends money or what ever. ) and withdrawals pending... In this way at least you keep track on all money...

Winamax was not possible anymore for all countries and they transferred to bankaccounts.

Pokerstars.fr also closed for some countries. You have to identify yourself again to get your money back.

But maybe , if you didn't react in due time, your bankroll is gone.

Thanks guys,
One of the room is/was PKR, I have been told that Pokerstars were take care of the bankrolls but instead ...
never mind :)

Yes, I know the poker rooms are not banks that's why I cash out almost the great part of the money by leave there just a bit to let me play, I didn't intent to stay away for so long but there is a word call "unforeseen circumstances?!"

Btw, most of the room just disappeared with the money, one said was, as said, take in care by Pokerstars but even if I contact the support few time, the reality is, when you need pay, it's now, when you need get paid is in a uncertain future ...

P.S. No1 notify me nothing; just for the record :f_thumbsup:

Take care guys and thanks again for your help and support, see you around :f_drink:
