Hello,

tiny sample but I guess UTG is pretty LAG and fishy..
I could easily 3b this hand but BTN is pure maniac on tilt with shove or 3b about 10 hands streak, so my purpose is to NYBR but it doesn't happen..

€0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: €4.29 (VPIP: 73.33, PFR: 26.67, 3Bet Preflop: 18.42, Hands: 76)
SB: €15.52 (VPIP: 38.89, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 37)
BB: €10.82 (VPIP: 23.51, PFR: 17.56, 3Bet Preflop: 8.87, Hands: 345)
UTG: €9.02 (VPIP: 26.32, PFR: 22.22, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 19)
MP: €17.52 (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 24)
Hero (CO): €33.47

SB posts SB €0.05, BB posts BB €0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: €0.15) Hero has 9♥ 9♦

UTG raises to €0.30, fold, Hero calls €0.30, BTN calls €0.30, fold, fold

Flop: (€1.05, 3 players) 7♥ 2♦ 3♠
UTG bets €0.49

Hero ?

Villain on UTG is short stacker so probably recreational, but 26/22 with 0% 3bet on that tiny sample, why does he look loose aggressive?

I would definitely just call pre, just like you did.

I don't get what is the question here? Villain cbets less than half pot and you have an overpair? He could or could not be cbetting crap on this board. You could be behind TT+ or you could be ahead 2 overcards. Anyway, you can't fold.

Given how you see BU I guess just calling hoping he's gonna raise you is the best play.
Minraising has its merits too.

UTG looks laggy because of his stack and his game post-flop, this feeling doesn't appear on hud but on the metagame, even if it's a short one..

The question is, can UTG (with a theorical strong range) realy cbet crap on this board, considering being OOP vs 2 players, one of whom pure short stack maniac..

So with c/f :
If HU turn 8+ vs cbet ?
If turn 3w ?

Yeah, that's true, didn't see that like this, too much focus on UTG range so I fold..

But then, HU vs UTG, it's fold on T+ vs cbet ?

Stack size can mean he is a recreational. A LAG can be a strong player too. But that is not important here :)

If villain would be a regular I think he shouldn't be cbetting that much crap here. I believe he should check very often. But that doesn't mean you would fold here.
And now that villain probably is recreational, we have no idea what he can do.

That's a good question, but I'd still trust players ability to overcbet like retards though ^^
Moreover you are quite high on your range etc.

Not sure to understand, you're asking what to do on the turn on a card higher than 8, both in HU and multiway case ?
I think it remains mainly a call in most scenarios.

Fold 99 on that flop does not seem wise to me. Your hand is worth at least a call.
I know cbet looks strong but I believe players on NL10 are not that balanced when playing OOP and cbet to much.
Imo he could do it with AK for instance hoping that you fold and BTN goes wild, because it is probable he is watching BTN's actions as well.

@Densyosh : The top of your range is... well, the top of your range, duh :P
You have to think about your whole range in a given spot, so here you don't have AA or 72 of course I hope ;)
99 is as I said quite high (but not really top) on you range as you should have only TT-JJ (12 OP combos) and 9 sets combos higher (assuming you're flatting 77-22-33 pre). If you call a lot of SC, PP and broadways that makes a lot of worse hands here.
If you fold too easily the best part of your range that of course makes you very exploitable in terms of frequency.
Sometimes the runout (or the opponent) is really pecular and you have to do it though but not as a rule.

@La55i : such a barbaric langage ! 8-o
I'm sorry I don't speak polar bear fluently :P
I'm still curious of what you said though ^^

I said that if you wanna discuss with your buddy in French you can do it via PM and that this is an English forum :)

But yea I have to agree that Finnish could sound quite harsh sometimes. And probably quite difficult for you to imagine how that stuff would be pronounced :f_biggrin:

Think raising's a bit too ambitious here
I'd just call
The maniac makes it simpler even right
The reg will have to play face up on the turn when it'll remain 3way
and you should be able to either showdown or call vs the aggro guy's range vs which you can peel

(you'll always be able to see what the reg has on the turn as he either has to bet and you know he has you beat, or check and then face a bet from the aggro guy with you still behind, sth he can't do light at all. Or you all check and you get to showdown)
