This morning second biggest lost, only 19BB, but i lost about 1K hands 22 $ with NL5 and NL 10, so lot of little lose give a -32bb/100. I thinked very-very bad if we see only one time lost 100BB and this one the second biggest lost.
Villain only 300 hands, played 31/4. I do not add his hands what he shows the river. Pre flop fold 3bet 0, fold to fold 3bet 100. But this board i thinked villain is calling station nothing he can fold.

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players

SB: $11.65 (116.5 bb)
Hero (BB): $10 (100 bb)
UTG+2: $9.90 (99 bb)
MP1: $10.22 (102.2 bb)
MP2: $23.62 (236.2 bb)
MP3: $8.86 (88.6 bb)
CO: $18.21 (182.1 bb)
BTN: $11.02 (110.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A♦ K♠
UTG+2 raises to $0.40, MP1 calls $0.40, 5 folds, Hero raises to $1.90, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) T♦ 6♦ T♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks

Turn: ($4.25) 9♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks

River: ($4.25) 5♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks

Spoiler

Results: $4.25 pot ($0.19 rake)
Final Board: T♦ 6♦ T♣ 9♦ 5♣
Hero showed A♦ K♠ and lost (-$1.90 net)
MP1 showed 9♠ A♠ and won $4.06 ($2.16 net)

The flop is paired, so after that pre flop action I doubt he folds to a cbet if he has 88,99, JJ or a hand like this.
It is hard to play AK'o in 3bet pots when you miss. You could throw 3 barrels with air trying to represent QQ+, but that's a really bold move against an unknown.

This seems like a spot you can also call with AK. No need to make the pot so big pre-flop when you haven't much fold equity and no position on both players. As played you can't do much else than giving up against a loose passive player.

Preflop is a clear 3bet. Postflop is awful.

When i have got AKos and i do 3bet pre flop, the cases about 70% i never come nothing. If come ace or king, villain shows 7-Q set. I love this game :f_biggrin:
Of course if i had AK and i have got position and i dare cbet, never come the turn and river A,K. Or i have got nut fd. But this is the poker

Pathetic mentality, might as well donate your bankroll.

Of course i had KK vs AA pre flop all in, never come to me 2 out the board. And lot of beauty hand, thanks everyone, especially for pokerstars.

I hate this site, jackpot freeroll i still have chips, i really hope i find bad beat especially before itm or final table. I do not know why play, i will never win this race or finish top5.

I had got 80BB, one pre flop push all in, AK and villain push about 20BB, easy call, shows AA, i lost. Next time 60BB, villain about 12, all in, i had got 1010, he had got AA, i lost too. 3 time, same villain same hands, 1010vsAA i lost. Thanks for opportunity ps, 3 hand 5minutes and i out.

I think checking the flop might be a bit of a mistake vs this villain type.I don't think you induce many bluffs vs such passive players on later streets so you may as well stab the flop and take the fold equity.Other wise I think were in a check down mode on all streets and hoping we hold.If called on the flop your still going to have 6 outs most of the time and you can still get called by a lot of worse hands vs this player type.So betting and getting called is by no means a disaster.

Which is very normal you need to remember preflop you make a'lot on the fold equity when you 3bet.And the hand isn't over on the flop you still have good equity in the hand on turns and rivers.

I am struggling to understand why you wouldn't bet on the flop. Maybe why I am down $40 from my initial $72. If there is no continuation bet are you not telling villain your hand range? This makes it very easy for villain to run you down with a lot of weaker hands.
If you bet on flop, yes you run the risk of villain calling but I also think he could also be calling with a lot of weaker hands and I also fire a shot on the turn with the third diamond which could help in deterring the villain from calling and maybe folding a better hand.
Just my thoughts and why I am down $40 :f_eek:

This is something im working on myself and probably cbet far to much in these spots if im honest. There is another hand very similar to this in the hand histories where the OP has 98 on a similar board texture with a gutshot. And of the two hands 98 is the much better candidate to cbet and perhaps turn barrel as a semi bluff.Due to the fact that 98 has terrible showdown value and benefits a huge amount from fold equity.Where as AK has decent showdown value and doesn't benefit all that greatly from fold equity.AK can also induce some bluffs from worse hands and play some pot control while 98 isn't ahead of any bluffs. It's all about trying to balance your ranges on each street so villain cant easily exploit you.So you want to mix in some stronger hands into your checking ranges. That way villain cant just put you on the weaker part of your range and blow you off all your checks with multiple bets.I think your going in the right direction with your thinking though and your reasoning seems pretty sound to me.The one thing I have learnt about poker is that it's much easier said than done.

I think the check down is ok in this spot, because villain has a stat 100% fold to 3bet. When he is calling he is sitting on something. I cbet more the people has lower than 80% fold to 3bet . I think stats guys who checking tools more often than I do can argument what are the calling ranges in other 20% when the villain calls.
