On the first hand i think it's ok to x-call on the turn but it's close. On the second i fold on the flop, it's probably too tight as it didn't hit his range very well (there are some overpairs) but you have to improve to win. When he bets so big i think i fold even with TP, i'm not raising here because i don't expect that he folds.

If he's tight the first hand is fine with only a draw on turn.2nd hand is a spot you can also fold right away pre-flop without any position on him. As played the flop is tricky on his small bet, but with 2 over cards it's a marginal call. Turn he's betting a lot bigger and without any fold equity you need to ask yourself what he will ever bet so big with only 1k behind.
