Here is the hand: https://www.boomplayer.com/29445076_8E9CE86211

I'm really having troubles playing top pairs or middle pairs OOP. Should I have folded in turn?
I shoved in river because AK would probably have checked back but almost 100% he'd call me my shove

It's not as much "playing TP OOP" than "playing AQ in a 4bet pot vs MP" lol.
What do you expect him to have besides AK as played ?

dont like the 3bet size. if u made it 3x is a lot easyer to the villain to 4bet relatively light for a 4bet range (AQ too for example). if u made your 3b 4x or 4.5x since u are oop, the 4bet would obviously be a lot bigger too, if u made it 0.60, the 4bet has to be something like between 1.6 and 2.2, making your decision a lot easyer, folding a LOT and shoving once in a while.
flop turn and river standart
maybe i´m wrong but that is the way a think when i´m in this kind of spots.

I'd rather 3bet/fold preflop or just cold call. And against "4bet any 2 cards" guy this would be a 3/5bet. (Very rare case - those guys).

@MyFloXyBabY Is he never playing AQs, KK or QQ this way?

Thanks a lot for the replies. I'll definetly make larger 3bets/fold to 4bet in this spot. :f_drink:

Only a gigantic moron would go and stack off QQ-KK on Axx. Sadly most NL5-10 players are morons but not of that species. They are more of the "I have it I value big duh !" species.

How exactly does betting your strong hands big makes you a moron ? Asking for a friend.

My friend read your post and laughed out loud saying that if somebody can't figure this out by himself he should probably quit poker.
But of course I'm not mean enough to say something like that. I just report a friend's thoughts. :sifflote:

I do not know why exactly you are acting like you are the supreme judge of everything poker related but it is really getting boring.

The only thing I'm judging and mocking here is the "asking for a friend" way of talking.

I think you cannot fold on flop or turn as the bet sizing is not big and you still have TP. You should fold river though if you do not hit.

I think it is well played. Flop and turn bet sizes was small enough to have a call with Q kicker, and when you hit OTR the best move is donk shove, cause I cant see any hand that you beat he could bet again for value or bluff here.

What are you hoping to beat exactly ?
