Pre Flop: (pot: 1.75 BB) Hero has 9♦ 8♦

Hero raises to 2 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Turn: (8.5 BB, 2 players) 4♠

River: (8.5 BB, 2 players) 3♥

In this hand should i bet again turn? With this strong draw i think i should bet, but he is loose passive so i don't expect much folds. In this kind of spots what draws do i have to cbet turn and what draws i should just check-back?

Cumps ;)

I would most of the time bet the turn as well. Only problem is that you deal with most likely a calling station and is checking it down with only a draw not to bad.

3rd barrel bluff is out of the question? Vs a cd I value town myself.

He is a loose player so it's more difficult to fold, so 3rd barrel bluff would be too much especially on an Axx, most of player will call down Ax and sometimes even a second pair in this board it will be difficult to fold. Vs most of this player ip i think check-back some of our draws could be better but here we have a lot of outs.

Looks like pretty standard two barrel spot. This hand is like worst possible pretty much to do 3barrel bluff as it has maximum blockers to hands you want to villain have (that would be always folding to third barrel).

Turn bet with these high equity draws depends on stack depth and how likely is it that we face raise and our fold equity obviously. In general on these Axxx boards we dont usually face that much check-raises so that is good for second barrel. We can probably get decent amount of 6x, 7x to fold or some possible K high. Sizing wise with these stacks some 4.5-5bb would be fine so that we have bit less than pot size left on river if villain call.

If having big calling machine reads then I like turn check more.
