5NL on Ignition, 6-handed

SB - $3.99
BB - $8.01
LJ (Hero) - $11.91
HJ - $3.85
CO - $4.46
BU - $1.05

I open K♣:T♣: to 0.15, BB calls

Flop ($0.32) 5♦:7♠:T♦: (2 players)
BB checks, I bet 0.2, BB calls

Turn ($0.72): 4♣: (2 players)
BB checks, I bet 0.45, BB raises to 1.20, I fold...

Opponent showed 7♥:8♥:, just want to make sure whether this is a correct fold in the long run? And should I have checked the turn to bet safe rivers or call a bet from the BB?

I think that is well played. I have no idea about ignition player pool if they are crazy people there, but normally turn raises are very strong. I don't see a reason to call a turn raise with TPGK.
I also see no reason to check OTT. You can protect your hand and get money from some weaker hands and draws, then you can check behind OTR.

Totally fine as played, but you could have checked back on the turn too.
