How to play that hand ?

i paid but I think is an error. And what to do at turn ?

He had AKo. In every case I loose but I think it is bad played.

I would bet turn and if he raises call or fold depending on what odds I’m geting to hit my straight. If he just calls I would give up on river.
But remember, this could be completely wrong ;-)

That's a nightmarish texture to play OOP against someone who cold called a 3bet pre because his range is mostly made of high PP and high broadways so he is hitting it hard as can be.
Checking the flop wouldn't be crazy. As played checking the turn seems more or less mandatory even if you have a straight draw lol.

Next time I will bet the turn and check fold the river.

Is it correct ?

I have much work to manage these overpairs.
