Hi,

I'm a bit unsure about my play here. What I considered here is that it's only 10 away from being ITM.
When villain min reraises preflop I think that he has a stronger hand than me like, QQ - AA possible AK.
Normally I would have gone all in preflop but considering that it was very close to being ITM I didn't want to risk it.
What's your thoughts about this?

In most cases I would shove it. Off course around the bubble you risk elimination, but if you get only a min cash you win max 2 buy-inns. Only if you have played a satelite for this tournament I would fold this. Than the money bubble is more importent for you if you have a decent bankroll to play these kind of tournaments.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes that's what I normally would do, i did in fact sat in to this tournament for 1$, I'm trying to build up my BR which currently only is around 53$ so the min cash was important in this tournament.

This is one of main problems in using satellites to enter into tournament you would not normally play. Being scared money wont be improving your roi.

I am not sure that this is GTO but in this situation you could flat ( this would be a safe play and let you read your opponents if they raise pre flop) and see the flop and then make a determination if you catch something. AK only catches about 25% of the time and I think it can be overplayed if your not careful.
