From Canada:
Who is Ed whatever, and what tragic accident crippled his fashion sense?

<interlude while Vorpal googles Ed Sheeran>

Amazed I never heard of him.
Side note -- it was only on close scrutiny I realized that's a short-sleeved shirt!

In France he is on every radio and TV. Not that I care about that.

Harrier88's guide to better living:

- Never turn on the radio.
- Never turn on the TV.
- Do your own research on news and other infos.
- Maintain your own library of music and entertainment.
- Enjoy your life.

I don't even have a TV (and I read books about propaganda etc). I listen to the radio in my father's car to go to work though as it doesn't have a CD player. Neither do I control what's in other people's cars or in the bus etc...
I'm quite tired of often hearing stuff like "don't watch TV, don't listen to the radio,..." Sure I don't. I still know a little about what's on. Duh. Never been to the movies for years and I hear about what's on anyway either.

So you use a computer screen for your movies?

Next you tell me you don't have a 2 gallon popcorn bucket either...

Well, believe it or not
I nearly never watch movies these last years anyway. =)

Well I don´t have popcorn buckets - don´t like popcorn.

Believe it or not.

Honestly, I don't like it that much either.

But I used to roll my eyes whenever I saw some kids in the cinema buying those huge amount of popcorn. Now that I have that big popcorn bucket lying around in my kitchen, I can do the same at home right before my videos, for a more authentic movie-going experience.

I also like to play a list of commercials and trailers before my movies, just so I can wonder when the real movie will finally start. Adds more hype.

Minor disaster: I just noticed I bought ice cubes instead of crushed ice.

Well, I have to use one of those either way, because whatever ice you buy, it'll be one big lump once you pull it out of the freezer.

I learned to use kitchen spoons and similar utensils instead, though. Hammers tend to create holes in the packaging, so I can spend a few minutes mopping up ice on the kitchen floor afterwards.

Breaking news:

Bought some nice soy-milk-ice-coffee yesterday. It tastes great. It´s from the label "Alpro".

Store bought oven croissants are actually quite good if you add two more minutes to the baking time from the instructions.

If you put butter on them (as you should), it should ideally melt on contact.

Yumm! Love them - there are also gluten-free ones available at "REAL".

But today, I´m having left-overs! Gotta finish that beef.... :f_frown:

Homer gets chicken-breast in heavy cream-sauce and "Spätzle" ( a sort of pasta).

Adding those two minutes is a necessity, though. Otherwise, they'll end up like any old regular croissant you'd get at a baker: Not bad, but kinda meh.

Maybe Floxy knows a thing or two about real good croissants, but who knows, he doesn't even like cheese...

Speaking of which, I don't care for spätzle, but that's okay, I'm not Swabian.

did the bunny on skype not solve the problem earlier?

as to my understanding the basket should be full of money rather than virtual eggs.

unfortunately as per my knowledge, personally i'm 20% more of a victim of the beef situation. it's not an issue I have the ability to solve.

seeing higher power is not exactly concerned at all with this, i assume the situation is put on hold until the other victim decides to let it go. or higher power decides to make things right - which given my experience with them, i believe will not happen.

personally i'd murder them all for the monetary and moral loses I suffered. can not count the days and nights I prayed for them to simply drop dead. unfortunately they are afraid of me and hide in their castles and tank-resembling automobiles so my only strategy as the weakling is to hope that the stronger will not abuse me anymore.
