Maybe we could use eagles as our anti-controversy animals if squirrels ever get controversial. Who doesn't like eagles?

I like Vorpal so I like eagles. QED.
But be careful with your controversial statements SDK. I'm watching you.

By the way I LOVE the show Parks and recreation and there is a scene where the infamous Ron Swanson says "every dog under 30 pounds is a cat and cats are useless".

Or the sushi might make you.

I added a bit too much oil to my bacon today, almost deep fried that stuff. But that's what kitchen towels are for.

I put bacon into a dry pan and cook over medium-high heat

Now I want bacon!

So here's the result:

Not my worst attempt at making sushi ever, but there's still a lot to learn.

That tuna roll completely collapsed after being mercilessly overstuffed by some crazy squirrel that shall remain unnamed. The piece in the middle was among the best looking ones that could be saved from that roll.

Sushi masters aren't born overnight, so let's keep practicing. I'm not looking forward to cleaning up the kitchen, though.

Was the rice too warm when you cut the sushi-roll?

That happens when you don´t let the rice cool down enough.

Yeah cooldown is important after a cooking session. It's written in the mental game of sushi.

I don't think so. I spent some time fanning it, and let it sit around for a while after that. It didn't feel all that warm. And the salmon roll, which was made before it, held together pretty well.

I'm pretty sure it was just the insane amount of filling that made it break down.

Of course sushi falls apart when you stuff the roll full! :f_ugly:

Primrose, I sushi you. _love:
That's a common joke in Japan. "Sushi" is close with "tsuki" which is a contraction of "like".
Of course the whole sentence would be "watashi ha anata ga (dai)suki desu" but let's keep it simple. The best jokes are the ones that don't need an explanation. Hum, what does it says about mine already ? I don't care ! =)

Makes me wonder who's the bigger "weab" - Floxy or me.

My hiragana and katakana skillz got extremely rusty by now.

I think I've won the weab contest. I write my first name in katakana ロマイン on Discord and Skype

At least I was able to read that name without looking anything up, so I don't think it's over yet.
Shouldn't you write it phonetically, though, rather than by letters? Not that your name is all that easy to pronounce in Japanese. I guess the closest thing could be "ロメー"?

Can you identify the playing cards in my sushi photo, and would you know what to do with them? If so, you may indeed have the edge in this contest. And you may want to tune in on my Twitch channel every once in a while.
