hi,

the initial raises is a reg and the other one is a rather tight player. The reg checks and I think I have to bet and protect my hand. The tight player calls and I think even this is very suspicious. Additionally, the reg raises and I just let go mway. Maybe this is to tight because the reg should c/r a lot of draws to I guess. Preflop could be a 3bet vs his loose open but I think its ok with a small frequency.

Yep I would likely shove with stack depth we have. Villain checking this flop in 4way pot with strong hand is unlikely. You should be checking most of time behind.

So question is what hand is he willing to give free turn and yet be strong enough to raise for value? Most sensible hand in some way might be AdAx but you also block it. You also unblock all semibluffs. Which mean time to go with it and make note of his play.

I prefer shove over call because of relatively short stacks and call giving great pot odds for BB

Preflop we can go either way. 3bet is fine but facing 4bet is bit nasty as we can't usually stack off. Call is sort of bad because blinds get awesome pot odds. Overall I would prefer 3bet as 4bets tend to be pretty honest.

I just feared in the game that is range is to value heavy.

It's indeed a weird spot to check/raise multi way on the flop as pre-flop aggressor.
Not sure why he would check/raise a draw like this and I don't think a fold is to nitty, but in game I would shove this as well without any specific reads on him.

Cheers,
