villain spoils cbet - easy fold?

It's a donk lead on the flop, but I wouldn't mind to call the flop and fold unimproved on a decent bet on the turn. If he's passive a fold on the flop is fine for sure.

This is 2NL, just keep it simple and fold, you dont need to involve is such spots.

When I first saw the hand, I figured as SDK1987 -- although I might bet out most turns.

Then I saw semiramiRNMD's post and realized he is right especially since SB is short stacked -- he doesn't have enough behind to give sufficient implied odds.

i think it's an easy call, specially being in position. the fact that SB is short stacked is good for us, since it means we are getting better odds on stacking off when we improve to TP.

Hm, We have 6 cards out of 45, so we will hit 1:7.5, or 13.3% of the time. So we almost need always to be good when we do hit and that he will always give us his stack. I don't think that we will be good nearly often enough. AQ, KQ, A7, A5 are all posiible along with all sets and 2 pairs, he is 90% fish so I cannot exclude a hand from his range. And of course an ace is a scary card for him and he'll often x/f when one comes OTT.

I don't know why people involve SB in this, he folded pre, but I would either make the call OTF, and see a turn, or raise his donkbet to see how legit it is.

But Semirami is prolly right that we should fold.

Its hard to say without stats, but usually villains at nl2 are passive and when they hit a pair or a stronger hand suddently they find the raise button.
