Some winning session for today. Had bit below 200€ profit but bit unhappy anyway as I lost majority of HU situations. I mean when you keep losing like 80% of 40-60% equity allins its bit nasty. Could have easily been 400-500 profit with bit more solid HU run.

can moderator explain reason for remove post?
since when saying someone is mediocre at poker is against terms of service?

Hey drinkmorewater,

You can't just call someone mediocre without giving an explanation as to why. If you have constructive criticism or an alternate view, then please let us know.

Regards

Laz

Ok so you created nick just to give feedback on my blog? Makes one wonder if there was another nick already.

Anyway feedback is always fine though preferably in sensible way. Otherwise it's just useless spam.

Quite a setup here on HU:

So went for preflop limp which with 17bb or so is pretty standard. Decided to check flop as villain had been fairly aggro versus checks and I do have decent showdown value. On turn villain lead and went for raise. Nice spot for it because I dont really rep that much so if villain has Tx+ I dont see him folding.

Well obviously that turn was pretty absurd one overall...

Have been on stomach flu whole week. Perhaps getting better soon but still can't really play poker when you never know when toilet summons... Don't want to be deciding on whatever staying on chair or going to toilet has higher overall EV

Been rough week. As said in previous post on Monday got first signs that something is off. Was in gym and didn't even work that much but got almost blackout moment after getting up after some moves. Decided to go home and at evening I was puking with 38.5c fever.

Tuesday and Wednesday went more or less same and on Thursday it started to feel better. Well that was calm before storm... Next night and day things escalated into me unable to sit without puking reflex. Nothing came out anymore as even stomach acids had prolly left the building.

So called to support phone and told about situation and me having D1 also. Basically answer was that I have to come to hospital and still on that journey. Lot better now though as there is no puking anymore and just bit of stomach pain. Some values were pretty far off when came here but looking better now.

Maybe even getting home tomorrow. Culprit of this ordeal is called astrovirus which rarely cause severe symptoms on adults. Well this one did.

Well has been sort of entertaining to watch this Mike Postle thing here in hospital. If anyone interested here is some of the awesome thinking process of the GOD:

I'll have a look when (or if) I have 35 minutes to spare.
Perhaps I'll record it as an MP3 and listen while I'm on the road tomorrow.

There are few hands analyzed basically so better to see them but tbh doesn't matter much as his reasoning is nonexistent.

Ok seems like Mike Postle case now has as much of "smoking gun" as possible that can be found without actual investigation of his phone etc.

One of the biggest points also is that it has took lot of people to do lot of work to find that out. Started from Veronica bringing out her concerns of possible cheating without being sure of it. But without that action same shit would likely continue as it has now for over year.

This is also not any gray area angle shooting but clear cut cheating allegation. Now with lot of proof to support it. Is it enough to bring up some sort of legal case and accucement of fraud? No idea but seems very very likely that lot of people playing there has faced lot of injustice and funding them back would be most important side.

As poker player in my opinion this sort of cheating shows absolute disrespect to game, fellow players and community around it.

End of this session mtt part. Pretty standard play but nasty collision to have that little equity on flop:

PS: Though still over 30% but very often at least 11 outs there.

peculiar flop x/r size

Yeah its just on whatever you want to have any x/r-fold range or not. I think its fine to have tiny bit of those like some 5♠:7♠:. If villain call flop we will have around 0.7 SPR for turn.

Sort of interesting hand here on BvB versus reggy player in 5man sng:

So he limps which he does quite a lot from SB and will have balance on the range. This hand is not really one I will well ever raise light so checking back. Flop and turn goes checked and I have simply given up.

But river hit me. Frankly I would say I have best hand next to always so go for minbet that will be half pot. Well good option would be to bet bigger also so we can bluff bit more often. I will occasionally use some of my total air as bluff with this size also. Obviously not often though. But then something weird happens and villain goes for 5x x/r... So he is saying that he limped and checked three street with TT+ in spot where I will check river like 80+% of time. Haaaard to believe so I went for call and he shows with KJ. So yeah I suppose he thought that I have 9x often and turned his hand into bluff but not really that credible line imo. I think he just has to call river most of time as he only need to be good 25% of time.

One more hand here from 50€ sng. So this will look extremely spewy as first look but point was that SB has been sitting out for like few orbits and likely stay that way. So basically this is bubble with second stack on BB. HRC:

http://hands.holdemresources.net/?id=vyxu1n4lfbfi
So if villain call 28.2%, 44+ A2s+ A3o+ K6s+ K8o+ Q9s+ QTo+ JTs my 43o shove would be +0.02% but I think BB will way more likely call closer to 19.9%, 55+ A3s+ A6o+ K8s+ KTo+ QTs+ and then 43o would be +0.73% So I did run into AKo and lost this time but I still like my shove.

Nice late start for month with bit over 300€ profit though HU all-in run was not exactly hot.
