Overplaying acies
I overplayed those acies after this Villain raised almost every of my c-bets. I thought that I may have the best hand here and could make a naked draw or maybe even small two pair fold.

Yes, exactly. Hand two is
Okay, I have to say that in Holdem this hand really could be good and this hand happened at the end of my session and I already was pretty tired.
On the first hand you comment that you might get weak two pairs to fold? After villain make that pot raise I dont think we should expect any fold equity. Especially not from two pairs. Also you got SPR of 5.5 so probably should just cbet-fold?
Time for ![]()
Hand 3 is fine. You don't block any clubs or any 2 pair, making it an absolutely fine river bluff catch. Sure, you block 2 eights but none of them is the most important one - 8♣:
His VPIP doesnt mean he's incapable of bluffing. What were his aggro stats postflop?
Hand 2.
I'll get back to it later.
Hand 1 - I'm for check back flop, maybe delayed CBet. You block one of the 2 worst cards that can ruin your showdown value.
How you counter an opponent who check raises your every CBet is not by stacking off really light for 140bbs, but by checking back, delaying your aggression and possibly bluff catch 2 bets.
(Also you can just call preflop)
But your biggest leak is iPoker. ![]()
Now, back to hand 2. Heads up micros on iPoker?!?! When you have the luxury to play on Unibet?
Thank you for your feedback guys! I´m learning, I´m learning. :f_drink::heart::heart::heart:

MTT fun with four cards
Saturday is my MTT-day, and today I didn´t pick up only two cards, but also felt like picking up four. So, I registered to a little 0,5 € PLO8-tourney (50€ Gtd.) on Titan. While the Holdem-god totally let me down, the PLO8-god blessed me with good cards (donk equity!
).
Right at the beginning of the tourney I could scoop a nice pot

There I could ladder up a bit take a shortie out but then also the PLO8-god left me (I´m sure he got tired too) and eventually I placed 3rd.

No SnGs? No problem!
I don´t need SnGs to have fun - why not picking up four cards?
Was not really sure about my todays session. Was not sure what I wanted to play, the decision was made by iPoker: There was barely traffic at SnGs but good traffic on PLO. So: Let´s pick up the four cards!
Played mostly PLO4, at the beginning I sat down on a PLO10-table which soon died, I could take half a stack but then people went away. The other PLO10-table was pretty reggish (and I´m not still a whale in PLO
) - so decided to open more PLO4 tables and play the bigger whales than I am. ![]()
Patience was my todays key word. Had to wait until I finally hit a flop and then I got even sucked out with my top set by another whale who made his gutter on the turn. Not a drama tough! Could take a couple of small pots on the flop occasionally and my good hands just came at the end of my session. Those can be found here.
I also encountered a very strange hand, you find in the hand analysis forum here, cause this just doesn´t make sense to me and I would love to hear the opinions of you guys.
So, altogether, nothing really special, some really nice hands that made my day - 1 stack up.
Houses that collapse! ![]()
Played a little PLO4- and PLO10-session today which was not spectacular but nice. As I´m not a PLO expert I looked for the tables with bigger whales than I am.
Found them soon, PLO4 is soft anyway, but could also find a PLO10 table with about 4 huge whales! But unfortunately I was pretty long time card-dead (means: no good starting hand or totally missed flop). Meanwhile I could take some small pots with bluffs on the flop and two full houses collapsed!
Here are my broken down houses:

SB bets 31 BB, Hero raises to 88 BB, fold
SB shows T♠ Q♦ 4♠ T♦ (Flush, Queen High)
(Pre 62%, Flop 49%, Turn 38%)
Hero shows 6♣ 6♠ 3♥ A♠ (Flush, Ace High)
(Pre 38%, Flop 51%, Turn 63%)
Hero wins 95.25 BB
And so came out pretty break-evenish....
Standard hands, just unlucky.
If it wasnt for the 7.5% rake, your "whale plays" would be winning.
At least go back to PLO/PLO8 MTTs where you would have to be nitty in some spots but will crush them with no rake considerations whatsoever. Partypoker has alot of those.
If you still wanna play PLO Cash, check out GGNetwork and RunItOnce.

Yeah, the rake on iPoker is really brutal. That´s why I play their DONs only for rakeback-reasons. I´m actually a rakeback-grindette in them :f_ugly:. MTTs are nice but as mentioned, I just play them only once per week for time reasons. I need "quicker" formats like CG and SnG. The nice thing about CG is that you can come and go as you like, you don´t have to play for hours, you can sit down and play only an hour or two and then leave whenever you want.
