Villain is a 25/20/6 after 180 hands. Seems decent.
Preflop could go either way. I will 3bet sometimes, flat sometimes.
Flop I decided to defend by check/calling. I would check/raise either the nut-flushdraw because it blocks AK and AJ value hands from villain or very weak flushdraws like 43s, 64s, that also have backdoor equity.
Folding on this flop is not ok imo.
Turn I hit and decided to go for the check/raise. I'm sure TP hands with a flushdraw can call us here. KJ calls, sets calls. Standard imo.
River is a blank imo. I block QT which is the str8. I decided to bet big, doesn't make much sense to bet small because I don't have any mid-strength hands like TP at this point.
And then he shoves. I can't fold the Q high flush at this point, although this line looks so so strong.
Ideas?
