Just wanted to say hi, i'm new here, also scrapping everything i think i knew about poker after over a decade of playing hold 'em, and starting from scratch. Finally realised how #$@# i am at the game but, back to the fundamentals, gl at the tables!
Thanks for the support peeps
, i will keep you updated, i've been testing new knowledge in freeroll mtt, played 12 up to now final tabled 8
and won 2 of those, studying mtt strat atm. Any tips on transition from 6 max cash game strategy to full ring mtt's would be greatly appreciated.

I use Hand2Note and I'm very happy with it.
You may not need to use a HUD immediately but it will come handy later for sure. But it's great for hand reviews and that is very important.
Try PT4, HM3, H2N and stick with one which works for you the best.
H2N remains for free after the trial version in the free BASE mode. It used to be limited up to NL25 and don't know what amount of tournament buy-in but I can't find this information now.

Never heard of h2n but i will defo look into it, sounds handy.
I used to think using hud's was cheating but if everyone is using them why not i suppose.

It's not cheating if poker room allows it.
update: I was doing really well, but, fell victim to bad bankroll management and busted out ;(.
A confidence boost from playing well saw me jump up to $5.50 + $11 buy is, bankroll was $24 ![]()
not a good move...
I think i had been playing for too many hours also, mtt tournaments at pokerstars take so many hours, starting another one after
6-8 hours tornament plus previous 4-6 hours sng's also bad move...
Lesson learned, i will start from scratch on saturday and update, i hope things are going well Jez!
Hey, QuadAceBot,
yeah, bankroll management is a key. If you don't play just for a fun, but want to be a winning player, then it's necessary.
I personally like mtt sngs, they don't take too much time like tournaments. You can start at 0.5$ or even 0.25$ per buy-in. 180 and 90man are fun.
Do you have Icmizer 3? You can do 1 calculation per day for free.
I have moved your thread to the blogs section. It looks like more than a blog than that you have any questions.
Cheers,
