Hi SilveoDante,
Welcome back to PokerStrategy.com! :welcome:

I had a check of your poker goals, for January and 2020, and they seem reasonably achievable. Go for it!

I had to look up IPSC because I had never heard of it before, but I could not find "short gun" in the list of categories.
Did you mean shotgun, or is "short gun" another term for handgun?

I have owned rifles and shotguns before, and used them for hunting and target shooting (with the rifle).
Handguns are severely restricted in Canada, and I have no use for one anyway.

All the best,
VS

Hi VorpalF2F, thank you for answer!

Excuse for my English, I edited IPSC categories: Rifle, Shotgun and handgun.
The most interesting for me is handgun, but in my country handgun is banned.
I have owned shotgun and rifle but I haven't ever hunted. It's only sport (hobby) for my

Ok lets start about poker, yesterday the day was good and luckily for me!
(I couldn't get my hands history from PokerStars. If I can get and import to HM2 I will edit this post)

I played 1500 hands and I won ~6$ in ZOOM NL2 6 max :f_love:
I had done my second chest and played free for me Spin&Go and won 3$ :f_love:

I had woken at 7.00 am and watched English videos:s_ugly:
I went to the gym._biggrin:
And I'm going to play 1000+ hand today
Now I'm playing without HMs HUD, I think that on NL2 It doesn't matter.
I will add this if I can beat NL2

Hi SilveoDante,
The shooting competition looks like fun!

If you can't find your PokerStars hand histories, check your settings like so:

Spoiler

If the checkbox isn't checked, then enter a folder name in the "Where to save" box.
PokerStars will create a new folder there with your username as the folder name.
I archive my hand histories every day in case I ever need to reload them into my database.
This keeps the hand history folder empty except for that day's games.
Doing this helps the database run faster

All the best,
VS

Yep, I knew how it works.

PokerStars didn't save my last hands because my settings were checked languages different English.
I changed in English and it started work, but I have not my last hands.
I ordered my hands in PS but they sent me only my last 200 hands by e-mail. Their support didn't say to me anything.

Yesterday I played only 500 hands and it's only half of my daily goal.
My result: +0.92$

Spoiler

Today I'm going to close my debt and play 1000+hands.
I think that I have to boost my goal to 2000+ hands per day if I want to beat NL2 in January

Great book!
Don't just read the Hold'em sections!

Also bear in mind that this book was written before online poker even existed (1979) so a lot of the strategies focus on live poker.

A tip, if you're moving down every-time you lose 2 or 3 BI, you don't really need 25 BI (buy-ins). I think at $75 you can comfortably take a $25 shot at NL5, and move down when you hit $50.

Thank you!
I want to give more experience, if a get it I will correct BI :f_thumbsup:

It's your bankroll, so use it in whatever way seems best to you.
I think that it is best to be cautious, especially at first.

How many hands have you played in total?
What is your win rate over all the hands you've played?

Best of luck,
VS

Hi SilveoDante,
Before you get too worried about red and blue lines, have a look at this forum post from 2012.
I can't believe that it has been seven years, but the material is still relevant.
"The Red Line Myth" by w34z3l

Also, by the same author, have a look at https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=321138
You can find the ranges he discusses in this strategy article:
No-Limit 6-max Pre-flop Ranges - Overview
In that article are links to specific suggested ranges for play from one position against action from another position:
For example: UTG vs a 3Bet from MP

Spoiler

blue: 4-Bet Fold
Yellow: Call
Orange: 4Bet Call
Note that in the original article, the author suggest sometimes calling in this spot w/ the orange range, sometime 4Bet/Call the details are in the article

Although the articles are old, they are still quite relevant for most low to mid stakes play.
(and in writing this post, I realize I've been super spewy calling 3-Bets!)

All the best,
VS

VorpalF2F, thank you so much!
I have read the article about red and blue lines. It is really very interesting and imports to understanding!
I will use it in my play! Thank you again! 🙏

I couldn’t do day off today and played 1k hands.
But I will post the report only on Sunday, because I am going to competition by MMA. My close friend is fighting on Saturday in another city.
