A little bit, but most of the time I would shove 98s pre-flop for 10bb against a limp.
On flop I would most likely just call and her-evaluete the turn with middle pair and backdoor flush draw. In the end it would go on turn most of the time.

you gotta understand, that villains dont usually cbet in limped pots as much as we do... that is the first thing

another thing is - what is your thought process behind the raising? you think he is stacking off w BP? do u even think he bets that otf?

If you have like 200 or so on flop you can just shove it to deny some equity but now we are bit too deep and call would be better. Prefop shove is fine but check is good option also. I would almost always shove bit smaller sc like 76s as then we can get lot more of better hands to fold and hand tend to be less often dominated.

Well as I said around 200 would be standard on this spot so if you have stack depth for pot size raise roughly. Point is you can't really fold flop and if we only have like SPR 1 after flop call we can't do that much of call flop and fold turn line either. So if hand is somewhat vulnerable to overcards etc. it can make sense to just commit on flop and hope villain doesn't have better already.
