Flop: ($1.10) 4♥, 4♠, 3♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, MP3 calls $0.60.

Turn: ($2.30) 2♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $1.30, MP3 calls $1.30.

River: ($4.90) 8♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $2.10, MP3 raises to $8.22, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $15.22

This is a fold, right?
This happened when I just had joined the table, so I did not have any reads.

bet more on the flop ~ 0.8$
bet more on the turn ~ 1.8$
block bet/fold the river. (2/5-1/2 is fine)

Well, the board is not very drawy (just a low connector could draw), so I didn't see the point in betting much.

You should bet bigger not only to protect your hand (and forcing you oppnennat making a mistake by calling a drawing hand against wrong pot odds) but to get value from you hand. Betting small is in spots like this is just losing value.
More over fish with a draw will chase it and won't really notice if you bet 2/5, 2/3, 3/4 or w/e. They are too :f_love: with the draw, so we should use this weakness to maximize our value which will maximize our winnings.
