AA vs. x/r flop on wet board :f_confused:

I'm not a fan of flatting the flop.
Villain is committing you to the pot if you call, so since you are going to be all-in by the river, make villain make the mistake by re-raising the flop all-in. You'll get value from AQ, KK, KQ and other hands in his range.
Remember we want to play tight-aggressive, so aggression would help this hand, I think

You may well lose anyway -- the only alternative is to fold AA overpair on a very dry board.

I like the line. Don't see the point in 3betting OTF when you have 0 bluffs. Call and keep him wider. You also block AQ heavily which is a hand you want to be called by.

I agree with zetozinho. I don't see a reason for shoving flop and I would also like to keep his range as wide as possible. There a basically no draws out against which we have to protect against. Sometimes I see fishs go nuts with complete air with the line above on NL5 - in case you 3b OTF you prevent him to do major mistakes.

In that kind of spots, at NL5, usually a raise like that means strentgh and i don't like go all-in with my overpair without any notes.
A call i think it's too passive because you're already comitted to the pot.

So, i would go to push or fold on the flop, it depends on the notes/tells you have from the villain.

I actually like your line. By shoving flop you will isolate yourself against better hands and the hands you would stack anyway and he folds all potential bluffs. But I am a little concerned about his flop sizing. I would be more happy to call it if he would have made it like 1.5 dollars. This looks strong. But on the other hand most players would slowplay monsters on this flop (sets) and raise them on turn or river.

Also very important imho is that this is actually not check/raise but only raise by him. And simple raise is usually not that strong as check/raise.

I am quite interested in what he had? You should take a note on him what his huge flop raise means. It could be a huge tell.

So I would play it the same way.

Villian had set 33, his line is very interesting ..... Can be this line profitable than raise on the Turn vs, unkown regish player? I think better this line used UTG vs. Late position, players have stronger ranges...
