Played this morning 0.55 progressive KKO, and won 90 cents, 250 place. Ok. But made one big mistake where lost half of stack uselessly by wrongly calculating setmine stack, and even he managed to bluff me out on river, where I could have still won. Friend says even with A high could call this bet on river.

Hi, got an email that pokerstars is giving me 3 MTT tickets, worth of 38.5 dollars total nice christmas gift. Tickets is for tournaments of not my usual limits. Playing my first tournament, 11 usd buyin. If it will go well , it will be hard time, becuase will need to figth with sleep, since it started 8:10 PM.

Plus today had headache because of waking up later than usuall. But resting and pill helped me, hopefull will not start again when I need play.

UTG was 66/22 so decided he can have wide range and by default this hand would be fold, but vs him maybe its ok shove with my stack.

At least it did not take till 4 AM and then bust me so I did not have to fithg my sleep 2 more tickets left - 5.5 and 22 usd. 22 feels very interesting cant remember playing such high limit

Btw listening to my country poker interviews, really nice podcast. And so far guests were MTT players and one was spin and go player. It looks like poker is not dead. But on the other hand - one was couple of guyes said it is hard and would not recomment for new players to think about professional play. But other players really were very happy looking with this and does not look like they are considering quitting in near future.

But it looks like really hard work from what they talk - they play tons of tournaments. Really grinding. And in tournaments problem is that you cannot turn of if you are tired or not playing A game anymore. You can turn off when you bust.

If I had to work that hard, I am not sure if I would like poker that much then. For me poker should be easier money than normal job and in normal job at least if it is not easy, it is feels much safer and more money for the time spent. Of course depending on how good at poker you are. I heard they say you can make 100k per year without problems. I make much less in my job. So then if for me would be enough to make as in my job, then maybe it should not be that hard.

Also I herd most of them are getting lots of coaching. Lots of them are in stables. I really am surprised that people play to earn for other people if they are winnning. But what I understood - they get free coaching for that. To hire a coach to consntatly help you is expensive . And there they are guaranteed that their coach will be good because he is really interested in making you good, because his stable earnings depend on your profit as I understood.

So maybe my problem when I was strugling so long was that I did not get much coaching and just was learning mostly from hand discussions, videos I am thinking.
