To be fair I think I misplayed that, I did not notice some straights completing but would he ever do this without straight? Need to work a bit on my focus.

According to your comment I guess he had the straight? Any info on him? Regular, fish, nit? You probably cant fold anyway. Yes 56 straight came there but thats pretty much it. He can have random two pairs or even slowplayed lower sets.

But I would also suggest better leverage so by the time you get to the river you can comfortably shove. This way you still had an awkward amount behind on the river. Make it like 1.15 OTF, a little more OTT and you can shove river easily.
