Howdy y´all!

Guys, im not a tournament player at all, but im having a discussion where a friend says it is totally legit to call down a 3bet allin pre-flop with AK, while both players are deep and playing the bubble.

Btw the 3better had 53 and my friend´s argument is that the hero knew the 3better was playing angro during the bubble. Again, i don't play tournaments, but even if we knew the villain´s hand it doesn't make much sense to me to risk it all on a 60/40 flip. what do you guys think?

I couldn't find the tournament thread, so feel free to replace the post.

I have moved your question to our tournament board. There fits it better.

It depends a little bit of the paid out structure and how deep you are playing, but if you get around 2 times the buy-inn it's not bad to stack off with AK for <30bb. Especially against a aggressive villain.
