Dear community,

I think I totally misplayed this hand. And as played, I think I have to fold the river.

But what do you do otf against the cbet?
I have no clue how to react here correctly. What are your suggestions?

OTT I think I am behind, but his bet was so small that I called.

Pre ok.
I'd fold flop right away vs a pot bet. No need to defend here at all. With the 9♣: I'd consider calling.
Just think of your range. You have all the sets, J9s (str8), overpairs, Tx.
99 is not even close to the best of it. Just because you have a draw as well doesn't mean you have to go with it.
Besides, a 9 may not a clear out and can also be an action killer (cutting your implied odds completely).
Don't feed weak players. Let him have the pot, you'll stack him later.
As played, turn is a call obviously. Fold river for sure.

Hey, I'm a newbie but I usually play NL2 and I would suggest that instead of play passively 23BB in turn and river you should mini re-raise flop per value to protect your hand as you have an OESD and understand what hand the villain is playing like that as he didn't 3bet pre-flop. You were blocking "9" for his QJ, for example.

If my line of thinking about this hand is wrong please quote it to refine my game.

See you @table man
