Posting this with results because when I used to play years ago QQ was always all-in preflop from what I remember in heads-up situations and I am playing like that now
Am wondering if this changed in the game now and I should be more careful. If this is just cooler it's all good, but am wondering if I goto adjust my game. Maybe I was wrong back then as well.
(P.S goto love GG poker with their run it multiple options and villain being kind ; it messed up the hand history but all streets were run 3 times, I won 1/3)

Thanks.

To put a bit more context, I do not like flatting QQs and would shove or call all-ins because of stuff like this:

A pack of feral cows chewed their cuds for .0043 seconds to convert this hand
GGpoker No-Limit Hold'em $0.05/$0.1 - 6 players

Button: $28.42
SB: $18.17 (Hero)
BB: $11.66
UTG: $10.05
UTG+1: $23.63
CO: $33.61

Preflop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with (6 players)
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.1, BB folds, UTG+1 calls $0.85

Flop: ($2.30) (2 players)
Hero bets $1.15, UTG+1 calls $1.15

Turn: ($4.60) (2 players)
Hero bets $2.3, UTG+1 folds, UTG+1 shows Queen of Hearts, Queen of Clubs

Hero collected $4.6

Villain is exploitable unless he would have wanted to go broke pre-flop. I think this is pretty exploitable if we flat or do not go all-in with QQ pre-flop. He is a reg so I know he is not spewy.

Any other thoughts on this much appreciated.

P.S
I am barreling two streets because my 3-bet pre-flop range is tighter than his 3-bet flat range pre-flop. I know he will have a tough time continuing with medium pocket pairs and Ax hands. I never put him on QQ actually, but I know he would not have AA or KK.

Try to post 1 hand per thread. That makes it easier to discuss about it, but against a TAG or LAG a stack off with QQ for 100bb effective isn't to bad at a short handed table. The AK hand is funny. I don't think I would fold QQ on a pretty dry board like that. Sets aren't to often in your 3bet range and giving you credit for KK+ seems not to likely ether.

Cheers,

Noted ok I'll keep jamming my QQs then unless I get pretty good reads not to.

Yeah the AK hand is strange, he open folded for his "good" laydown. Have immediately put a note on him of course for it and thanked that he is like that.
If I were in his shoes I'd also not fold, but then again I wouldn't flat pre-flop either.

Hand 1: I think is okay.

Hand 2: I'm not thrilled to stack off QQ there pre so I would probably just flat his 3bet.

It all depends on the villains really but I tread carefully vs the regs in these spots at these stakes because players are tight as hell.

just saying, yes by shoving you may scare cards that otherwise can hit flop and crush you, but that's a simple play and requires basically no skill
