The villain is 63/43/af6.5 3B:zero 54 hands

May be he is not a lag but just loose, I have no idea.

The flop is meh. Yes, I know that.

PokerStars - $0.16 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 61.63 BB
BTN: 168 BB
Hero (SB): 103.94 BB
BB: 36.38 BB
UTG: 106.63 BB
MP: 104.44 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♠ A♣

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 11 BB, fold, UTG calls 8 BB

Flop: (23 BB, 2 players) 8♠ Q♣ K♣
Hero bets 10 BB, UTG raises to 20 BB, Hero ???

Thoughts?

It's a small sample but villain looks loose aggressive so far so i would be looking to get it in at some stage it just depends whether the flop or turn is better to do it.Because villain looks laggy i'm more inclined to just shove the flop and take my chances vs villains range here which you should be doing ok against.

His line is funky on the flop. Problem is that you block the nut flush draw and that makes it tough for him to have 1 with in mind J♣:T♣: is the best possible draw he could have. Without any reads on him I would most likely call and her-evaluete the turn to keep his range wider.

Writing this before seeing the results. If we were in position I would slightly prefer slowplay and go for what SDK says. But you have to be prepared to calldown even on worse runouts because he is unlikely to just shut down. But OOP I would probably go for a fast play on the flop. Yes you block nutflush draws but this a clearly aggressive fish so he might go over the top with even much worse flush draws or straight draws or even a weaker K. So put a decent 3bet OTF and call his shove or barrel turn with large sizing if he calls.

After seeing results. Thats exactly what I thought he would continue with all the way. Maybe shoving flop yourself isnt a bad idea. I wouldnt do it myself but will definitely try :f_biggrin:
