Rush, aggressive flush draw play OOP

What about just check/call flop? I mean you have a decent draw but a showdown value as well. I dont think c/r is a bad play, I would just do it with draws that dont have showdown value like 67 or T9 or TQ or QJ. You can also consider 3bet bluff preflop but calling is fine too.

As played half pot bet on turn is fine by me. It should generate enough fold equity against his 9x hands for instance and you give yourself good odds for your draw. Not sure about the river though. It reduces his 9x combos but 9x is still a large part of his range I think and I dont see him folding it. If anything I consider the 9 to be a good bluffcatcher. There are many draws that miss and he might try to take it down. The only thing that got there is QT. So I would prefer either check/fold or check/call. By betting pot I am afraid you just make worse hands fold and many better will call.

But it is true that you also represent sets this way. If he thinks a little he should be able to fold 9x but I wouldnt count on it on micros.

Fold or 3bet preflop. Awful preflop call for me.

As played the J is so bad to bluff. It hits Button's range much more that yours. Any JT/QT and backdoor flush draws are now calling too.

Betting the river is also bad as now it massively reduces your value combos and sets that you are desperately trying to represent. Not to mention the button again has more 9s that you do.

River: you are blocking the flush draws combos and the only hands that i see him folding are those that you beat anyway like 67

If i was villian i would snap you with any 8x here because this would mean the only hand you might have played this way for value is 44.

In general avoid cold calling in the SB as you will be outplayed big time out of position.

I just check/call give up somewhere. CR seems capped as draws, if I do it.

Yeah putting a note. Played the hand this way originally because if I were in villains shoes it would be tough to continue.

But then later I stacked two separate players with my set vs their TPTK as they totally did not respect C/R lines.
I won't attempt C/R stuff that much anymore as it is generally not respected and I think players would not fold when I hit my flush on this limit and I do not have to totally mask it etc.

Yeah I don't have a calling range in the SB, so would have 3betted, as played I like the super agro style and doing the same, altho in this spot I give up the river. Hmmm you do rep the straight pretty good:)

I would just call flop.
On the turn and river, i liked your line.
However, this is NL5, unless you have stats/notes from the villain, it's difficult at this stakes make them fold.

I have a sb calling range vs all positions but vs a btn open A5s is a 3bet for me and i would just call the flop as well.But as played i think you need to go bigger on the turn to increase your fold equity your not getting many folds for that sizing.It's possibly a decent spot to over bet the turn although i don't really use over bets myself.And i don't necessarily think the 9 is great for you as it reduces your set combos and your now repping 44 88 and quads.It's going to be very difficult to make over pairs fold now on the paired river as the 9 is a pretty good card for those hands as well.You'll probably have a tough job getting hands like TJs QJs to fold now on that river also.So i don't really see to many better hands your getting to fold on that run out so i might just check and try to take showdown vs villains missed draws.They probably bet missed draws quite a high frequency though so it's really not a great spot for us either way.
