Sudden change of tide, got winning session and Big Hand Jackpot with straight flush twice. On the second time I didn't even realize I had a draw for it, just saw nut flush. I just wish the roller coaster would be over.

Going to shoot poker stream in couple of hours at https://www.twitch.tv/kyyberi and fishing stream tomorrow morning (CET) at https://www.twitch.tv/fishkyyberi

If you, yeah YOU, could be so kind and visit the fishing channel and press follow. I need some more to unlock emotes!

Human mind is a weird thing.

I played 3 sessions today, and only felt that in the first one I run decently. In last two I felt like losing a lot of allins and running bad in general. Today's graph:

Spoiler

So actually running over EV in last two sessions. almost 4K hands equals $200 in rake at least. Got 11K Fish Buffet points, which is same as raking $110. So Player Value Index is screwing me, making the total rakeback to almost only half of what it should be.

But hey, breakeven EV is a win! And running over EV is just justice.

At GG, but when real rakeback is 20% and includes shitloads of variance, not sure about it anymore.

That's about 19 % more than I am getting lol. EditedStars is getting worse year by year, hour by hour lol. I am thinking about switching as well. Thing is, that I don't know where is solid HU SnG action.

Anyways, good luck.

Next Primetime is at 30th day, 20CET. Will be using solver to see the preflop for 1bb ante games as Stars Zoom is now.

Have you seen this?
https://en.ggpoker.com/poker-games/rush-cash/

Rush Omaha:
3bb rake cap if it's a full table
No rake if it's not a full table

Yes, 5% rake and cash drops are EV0 as the money is taken from each 30bb+ pot. Tables are filled to max, so that no-rake is quite rare and useless. As usual with fast poker and leaderboards, it's very reg heavy.

If I would have time to play 10h a day for leaderboards, it might be worth it.

Played a HU with an opponent who just hit everything. And if he didn't hit it before we got the money in, he hit it after. Lost few buyins and it was annoying as hell.

Some time later, I was playing HU again and this time I was the one who hit everything. And it helped that opponent was playing a bit bad, making brain fart aggro plays and loose call downs. But HU was fun when you were sitting there with 800bb stack.

The thing is that I haven't really focused in HU PLO strategy that much, so I have no idea if I play it well or bad. I can beat bad players for sure but someone who is competent in HU I have no idea. Have been thinking few times if I should invest time to that, but then I thought that HU vs good opponent is -EV due to rake even if you have some edge, so it shouldn't happen that often. And vs bad players I think super exploiting strategy is a lot better than solver based.

1,5 months left in dayjob. And oh boy I am waiting for the day when I don't have to go to dayjob, but I can go to garage and fire up PLO tables!

Tide is slowly turning, and confidence is building back up.

Went back to tables after a week long break. Learned how to lose 350bb in 3minutes:

First hand: 150bb deep, preflop allin AA vs AKK, drawing 3 outs after the flop.
Second hand, exactly after the first one. Preflop allin AA vs KK, lost.
Third hand, exactly after the second one. Go almost whole stack in with 5bet, opponent 4bets and just calls, leaving couple of bb's behind. I have AAQQ, flop KQ3r, he has KK.

Good game.

Another pretty annoying thing. GG poker Player Value Index means that winning players get a lot less rakeback. I played 1300 hands. Rake is at least 10bb/100, most likely closer to 15bb/100. So even with conservative estimation, I raked at least $65. Got less than 3K Fish Buffet points, which equals $30 rake. I am not even making profit with my current run, and my rakeback is less than half of the advertised.

Someone might call that a scam.

Damn...
Consider playing some PLO tournaments on GG and Party. If you plan on turning pro, the time schedules shouldn't be a problem.
Playing something fresh with weak players in it can really boost your confidence. Why not also your luck?

Time schedules is a big thing. As I quit my job to get out of working in 3 shifts, to have more time with family it wouldn't make sense to play poker during the evenings/nights. That's why playing 9-5 is my thing.

And confidence is good, The only way I can lose is coolers and setups. Having strategical edge versus most of the field, so everything is good. :f_drink:

Good thing is also that from August I will have time to stream regularly too.

*Million curses here*

Fook me! I entered $10,50 WSOP satellite, which had 3x$1050 tickets. 289 entrants total, and I got out as 9th. 4 hours of wasted time, for nothing. I hated tournaments before, I hate them still.

Here is one of the sickest holds in a while:

Spoiler

We all were 200bb deep, and money started to go all-in. I made a 4bet, then saw 5bet and 6bet. I wondered that it sucks as Game.Over made cold 5bet so that has to be Aces. Which would lead Colt36 to have the best equity in monster pot. And then they had those hands. And then came that flop and I managed to dodge all outs.

And I got Big Hand jackpot for straight flush twice today. And will get the first place in daily leaderboard for $250. Was a good day, except for that stupid satellite time waster.

Sometimes Universum delivers. I was just thinking that as I can't make the next Fish Buffet in 30 days due to holiday, I received an offer from Stars to get $200 for raking $500. Time for a little project, rake $500 at Stars PLO50. Should be less than 10K hands.
