Mixed games, mixed drinks and a HUGE FAIL! :mdr:

After the competition season Harrier and I decided again to spend a nice and funny day together. We had delicious (me) Italian food .... well..... Harrier had Banhauser of course  He decided to order a Pizza-Schnitzel, which I consider as totally Banhauser. :f_ugly::f_ugly: Of course we also had yummy cocktails, for cocktail recipes and more click here.

This time we decided to play some Wii .... what was it? Mario Olympic Games or so? where I completely failed and burst into LOUD LAUGHTER..... :mdr: :mdr: :mdr: and I failed even more because I had to laugh so hard! When we played synchronized swimming, my character was nearly drowning, I couldn´t get anything right, it looked so funny, that I had to burst into laughter again and again and again .... and of course couldn´t do that stuff due to my laughing. :mdr:

Okay well.... no surprise after all this .... :f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly:

Was really super funny and tomorrow it´s finally time for vacation!!!:banana::banana:

Have very busy weeks behind me and before I return to the tables, I will enjoy two weeks of vacation.:banana:

Disclaimer: Those empty (and full) glasses were the drinks both of us had yesterday, not just one of us. :f_biggrin:

Obviously, I had to take the legendary pizza schnitzel after not having been to my local Italian restaurant since before the start of the quarantine. We did not take any photos, but here's an older one:

And yes, with Prim's outdoor competition season over, I thought it would be fun to try some sports games on the Nintendo Wii together to keep moving. :f_biggrin: The game we played was Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Don't be discouraged by those partisan judges, I liked your interpretation of The Dying Swan. :f_wink: Also, professional synchronized swimmers don't usually have to deal with low hanging ceiling lamps during their performance.
I should really get that one fixed, though, I keep bumping my head on that lamp after getting up from a nap on that couch.

At least we were able to demonstrate our ability to hold our liquor in the shooting event, earning some nice medals for Pokerstrategy. :f_grin: Be warned, though - I have a version based on the 2010 Winter Games too. Will my living room survive a drunk Harrier and Prim pretending to go bobsledding?

Enjoy your vacation, Prim! Looking forward to play the "Troll Freeroll" on Titan Poker with you again soon. :f_love:

...and when does Prim return to the tables?

...soon, guys, soon! As mentioned, I´m on vacation until September 26th and enjoying it a lot! It´s tennis bootcamp again. _ugly: The weather is beautyful and just perfect for sports. Around 20°C, sunny, wonderful!

After the competition season it´s time for technique classes and that´s what we have. It´s time to improve our techniques. Even though I like WAY more just to play, I know that it´s important to improve and develop a good technique. It´s like in poker. You can always improve, right? Further it´s also important to improve the endurance. Normally I use to go swimming during the off-season but due to Corona this is not possible yet. Too bad! _frown: We use to enjoy Sauna during our autumn-vacation but this is not possible either due to Corona but it´s too warm for Sauna anyway. Instead, we do cycling, go on wonderful biketours and enjoy nature. _love:

After the tennis bootcamp, I will take one week off sports. No sports at all that week! The body has to relax and regenerate. Further, after vacation the off-season starts, which means there won´t be so much tennis practice anymore. So, time for more poker! _love:_thumbsup: Looking forward to it. _love:

Taking a break is (almost) always good!

I miss cycling...

Home sweet home..

So, now: We´re back from vacation. It was awesome! We had beautyful weather, 20°C and sunny, exactly the right weather for outdoor-sports (tennis and cycling). The wrong weather for sauna though, so we were not too sad about the Corona restrictions and spent a lot of time with outdoor-sports.

Just the last day for our holidays the weather changed and now autumn has definitely arrived! The perfect weather for a little break from sports. In order to regenerate the body, I won´t do sports during the next week. Off-season has begun and my body needs some rest until indoor-tennis and endurance sports start.

There will be definitely more time for poker now and phew, guys, gotta get into it again .... :f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly:

Here we go again!

I´m back at the PLO tables after my summer-break (competition-season and vacation). Less tennis, more poker now! _smile:

So played a nice "welcome back, Prim"-session. Started with PLO4 on Unibet but then after I got into it a bit more I dared to play a table PLO10. I had a rough start first. Of course! I started with misplaying two hands - making two bad calls (calling with a str8 on a paired board f.e.). I realized, gotta pull myself together and play decent PLO now, and remember what I have learned. Was dancing around break-even for a long time. Could take my first stack with middle set JJJ vs Acies, we got it, Villain jammed with just an overpair, no draw and so my set held up.

Then, a lot of patience and nerves were required _ugly: Was totally card-dead and lost three stacks in PLO4 - this time due to bad luck. Once ds acies didn´t hold up vs some random hand, then I flopped topset with nutstr8 and we got it in. Villain jammed with only a pair of deuces and a backdoor-str8-draw ..... but .... got there with runner-runner str8 (higher str8 than mine). Then I had the nutflush on turn with AJJKss, we get it in on turn - and river pairs the board. _ugly: Oh great! Meanwhile, I was totally card-dead in PLO10.

Got a little tired and decided to play about 10 minutes more and then quit the session. Just right before I wanted to leave the table, this happened:

There it is: todays session-saver! _love::banana:

Played a bit more but got nothing, got tired and left the tables. Altogether +9€ which is a great start!

I think he was referring to that Unibet avatar. Also that Unibet nickname, probably.

That was a very nice "welcome back" session, though, you beautiful redheaded fairy. :f_wink: Great discipline too. Maybe cash games really are the game to play for you, especially PLO cash games.
