QQ for me too big bet on the turn. You will never get called from KK or JJ.

Compare bet size from AQss and QQ spots.

I think generally, You are to passive in spots.

How much You Cbet flop, Fold to 3bet and 3bet?

Thanks for the input :f_drink:

QQ if anything i should of bet bigger. We are deep and we want to play for stacks.
AQss i had reads, standard play is to fold here though.
My stats are fine (advice from weazel).
I was actually playing too agro, with a 10% 3bet over 60k+ hands!_drink:

OverFold

Okay! Long overdue update.
I've been grinding. Nothing has changed all too much bankroll wise, i've had ups, and downs.
I feel my biggest leak is not over-folding in spots. What i mean by overfolding is spots where we should probably be calling theoretically but in practice it should be a fold, due to population tendencies.

Just to start off, this hand was super sick and i don't think we can fold the river here although who knows. I feel any Jx would play like this. (Super sick runout..!!)

PokerStars - $0.10 Ante $0.01 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 100.1 BB
SB: 158.5 BB

Hero shows J♦ Q♠ (Straight, Queen High)
(Pre 34%, Flop 0%, Turn 0%)
SB wins 214.5 BB

Overfold spot 1:
This is a strange hand. I feel like we're too strong to fold at any point,.. but then the question comes is he shipping anything on the river here that we beat.
The answer is no. And at NL10 zoom,.. perhaps we can even find a fold. Give me your thoughts on this one.

Overfold spot 2:
This is tricky. We're yet again high up in our value range. I just can't see any hands we beat taking this line, and there aren't enough bluffs... i decide to implement the OverFold.

PokerStars - $0.10 Ante $0.01 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

River: (48.1 BB, 2 players) A♦
BB bets 32.1 BB, fold

BB wins 45.9 BB
(The comets are overfold spots and superman is my winrate.)

OverFold Spot 3:
This is where i wish i took my own advice. I think i played this really bad, and the river should be a fold all day long... But at the time i decided to give 8 tables of rush a go and made a split decision. (note to self: don't play 8 tables of zoom).
Although this should of been a fold anyway, i think if i had "overfold" in mind then i could of laid this down without a second thought.

I always like to throw in a hand here and there where i know i played bad, just to keep it down to earth. I do play bad sometimes, and its a work in progress.

This is my graph from the past week (1st of October):

Dayum babe that'd a nice lookin graph u gt there

QJ begs the question: why 4bet? this is a simple fold preflop under most circumstances.
#1 and #2: whatever, call. #3 is a fine fold, but calling can't be that bad.

it's not unreasonable to shrug those off as coolers - it seems somewhat unlikely that your opponents would have folded in the same spot.
you can try to soulread the pool (i also used to), but that slope is very slippery...

Spot 0; I call PF, 110 deep vs a small 3bet, but since I think highly of Tomaloc I am reconsidering this it's probably better to listen to him, you could still defend ~50% of a CO opening range by folding QJo and calling more suited stuff instead of favoring high cards. As played: why do you think any J takes this line? What would any J value? Do you think that people would call a 4bet OOP with KJo/JTo?

Spot 1; Super unpleasant, not sure what bluffs tbh, from villain's POV you could have all fulls except KK/many flushes and he shoves, I don't think he vbets worse, so basically I am saying that he shoves only KK and KQ for value, which is 6 combos. I think in game I am f*ck-calling

Spot 2; Easy call for me, BB could have 98s/XcXc/J9, maybe even vbet AT

Spot 3; I guess he only has the 15 combos of QJ and the 15 of QT that are the main reasonable bluffs hands that we want to see? He could have 25 flushes or so, his sizing is quite large so I guess we're only bluff-catching and he's polarized so we could say that he has 40 combos of value tops with the straights, but it's not guaranteed he bluffs all the missed GS (or barrels with them), and with the backdoor busted FD. I actually think I would have a hard time calling with something else than a flush, meaning someone could bet any 2 vs me. I need to check how much I x/c turn and x/f river actually

How do you 8-table Zoom? Do you play on other sites?

4b cus he had high 3b/ft4b.

Yes that's where the profit comes from I'd imagine.
How do you mean with the soul read ?

How do you play 8-tables of NLHE cash at all?
I once could 8-table Double-or-Nothing Sit & Goes, because you play them extremely tight.
I can do 3 or 4 max now -- but these days they are often 3 or 4 different games.

I can see 8-tabling full-ring NLHE, but it gets hairy if all 8 are on the cutoff, btn or in the blinds

Oh I had absolutely no idea that the table cap was per stake, I thought it was overall. Thanks

It does get pretty dicey, especially with zoom. Wouldn't recommend it! Haha

Yeah, 8 is the max (I think?) With zoom tables.
It's alot of work to say rakeback is non existent on stars 😭

Really considering switching to another site, ACR looks really good,.. with their deposit bonus it's (apparently) 41% rakeback! Which seems insane!

Thanks for the reminder -- I had seen that before.
He was also very selective in the hands he played -- not tight necessarily, since he played lots of hands, but he seemed to be able to size up his opponents quickly.

When I saw him, he was playing STT SNGs

Okay guys :f_cool: so been pretty busy lately. Haven't been able to play massive volume. I've just switched from Stars to GG, which i'm pleased about so far, it's nice to receive rakeback!

So my current goals are to actually completely and whole-fully brush up on the basics.
I feel like i'm out of touch with alot of basic concepts, pot odds, outs, basic maths. I've been watching some videos and realising that i know nothing. Which is a woeful realisation to come too after such a long period. But i did take a verry long break.

SO this is me throwing my ego into the fire of knowledge, and humbly, slowly build back up into the advanced stuff.
This time i'm doing things right and building a solid foundation before hitting the tables again! _evil:

So i won't be posting hands for abit. But this is a something i need to do if i want to take this poker thing seriously.

Why not post those puzzling hands where the "standard" approach seems to be wrong?

Best of luck :gl:,
