OTF I get ~25% pot odds. Close but can call with FD I think.

OTT I get 26% pot odds. Not sure if I can call here again (I need 19.6%)? It looks like villain has a strong hand, so the implied odds could be good enough, on the other hand the board paired which could mean quite high reversed implied odds. So I think this is a clear fold, do you agree?

Pre-flop is a loose open, but with a suited connector not to bad.
On a passive table I would make a fold right away.
Post-flop seems well played. Check/call multi way is fine as well to keep the pot small. Will be tough to get 2 players to fold and no need to build up a pot with only a draw on NL2. Turn is a fold with 8 clean outs of a flush with in mind if you hit 3♠: you could face a full house.

Cheers,

87s is fine to open pre from mp imo and as played turns a fold for me if you pick up equity with something like the 6h on the turn you can call most size bets with combo draws.

Yeah 87s is fine to open from Mp.
I'd fold the flop. Can be vs a dominated FD and we're OOP with another guy to act.

87s is an open if you know you have a post flop edge against the rest of the players.
calling the turn seems like bluffcatching to me so unless i have stats or notes on him it's a fold for me.
And OTF against agros check / calling to pot control is an option. if the villains are passive bet/fold is my second option and only third the bet/call

Agree with DecMate on this one - we're OOP so it's difficult to realize equity, and on a spade we can't even be too thrilled because we basically have the worst FD possible, unless we run Vs 64ss/43ss type of stuff, but if we do it means villains will likely pkay stuff like K6ss etc.

nutural : bluff catching means calling and beating bluffs, with 8-high it's not reasonable to talk about bluff catching; we lose to most bluffs

@Swish29 : are you absolutely right and reading again what i wrote does not make me happy :f_thumbsup:
I meant that calling the turn feels that we are playing sherif, trying to catch him bluffing - but it's not the same as bluffcatching), ignoring that technically we have nothing more than MAYBE some FD outs.
