Hi guys!

I'm gonna try and do this challenge in public to hopefully share my success and get some feedback, improve and learn more.

Some background about me.
I've been around playing poker since 2011 and I've been a member here for a while, don't know for how long really.
I'm currently 33 years old and work fulltime and I'm a father of 2 kids, age 2 and 6.
When I have some time over I like to stream on Twich, my account is swedishgrinder

Except for that I live in Sweden where they recently removed all kind of rakeback and stuff for swedish players, due to my government.

I am mainly a cash game player but have been playing some MTTs and SNGs as well, with smaller cashes. Back in the days I used to play 24 cash game tables of NL2 and made a decent profit over time.

Now the time has changed and you can only play four tables at once on Pokerstars, since that's where I mainly will play.

As for the BR challenge.
On the first of August 2020 I withdrew 1000$ and left only 100$ left after having several bad beats for a longer time. Since then I grinded it up to the currenty BR 1210$.

I'm currently taking some shots on NL25 even though I'm not fully rolled yet. I prefer to have a 50 BI before moving up.

My goal is to try and make 5000$ as my BR and after that playing NL100.
When I have 5000$ I will regularly start to withdraw some money every month and have it as a side income from my fulltime job. Maybe one day I can become a fulltime cash game player, but that's a different story.

I nearly play every day and I will try to update you as often as I can.
I only play fullring, because that's what I do best and I'm not winning on zoom tables. I like to table select and play against the fish.

I hope you enjoy it and that I can make this challenge! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

The BR challenge starts today 2020-11-02.
Here are some of my winnings on cash game fullring:

Thanks Vorpal!

I didn't have much time to play poker today but I manged to play some hands on NL25 and NL16.
It was a small win today on cash game for around 26$ but I also managed to play a sat to the Bounty Builder 55$. I could have got in but decided to aim for the last place before winning entry, since it would give me 40$ in cash and I realized I didn't have time to play the MTT today.

My biggest leak today was being unable to fold JJ on the BB vs a 4bet preflop from the SB who only 4bets 1%. Of course he had AA but still I couldn't find the fold button.
Same thing happend with my AA hand which I think I overplayed when villain had trips with 8. Trying to improve there but it's not always easy.

Total winnings today is +62$
Current BR: 1271$

New day tomorrow.

So now it has been nearly a week since I last updated and the reason why I haven't updated is beacuse I lost big while playing NL25 and NL16 some bad plays but also some bad beats. I ran up my BR up to 1351$ and then in 2 days I lost 300$ so the BR was at 1051$, it's really hard when it doesn't go the way you plan.
However I also know that in the long run I will be profitable and this is part of the game.

One of the reason I lost so big is that I targeted a superfish who went all in with nearly every hand, however he hit every time, J2o vs my AK, flop AJ, turn 2.
QQ vs A9o all in preflop, river A and such.
I will review my biggest losing hands later and try to improve. I believe that I also tilted a bit vs this player and in general.

I managed to get some hope today when I played and made 75$ in profit. My total BR is still lower then when I started, current BR 1120$.
I decided to move down to NL16 again when this happende and when I have about 50 BI I'll move up again.

Loss since this post: -90$

Except for this I also played some MTTs, got deep yesterday in a 5.50$ prog KO and finished 16th. Lost TT vs KK sb vs BB. AQ vs 99 and 99 vs KQ all in preflop in the end.

Anyway new week and new opportunities.

Another week has gone and I managed to play about 10 000 hands, fullring cash game. I still run a bit bad but somehow managed to make a profit. I also managed to play a few MTTS and finished in 85th place in the Bounty Builder 16.50$ for 75$ cash. Got unlucky in the end AK vs J8 all in preflop, flop 558, turn 8. Then KJ vs J2, flop J2, turn 2. Hopefully I'll make a FT another day.

Anyway I made a total profit of 408$ this week. BR is now at 1528$.

The biggest pot I had this week was on NL25 with this hand vs a superfish, stats over 90 VPIP.

Thanks VorpalF2F, yes indeed that one big win can and will make a huge difference. If I win over 1000$ in one go, that would be a record for me. Someday... :)

Yeah exactly, will do that when I have 50 BIs, however I did try a few hands out this morning and went ok, but quickly went back again, since I'm not properly rolled according to me. But it looks like the fish will still be fish :)

The practice in North America is to use the comma for the thousands separator -- and the period for the decimal separator.
When I saw the "116,88$" I nearly popped an eyeball.

Nice hand, nice run...
