At the moment I can´t but soon it will be possible again. :f_thumbsup:

When I get tired ...

..I use to scr€w up hands! OH NO! Today, I f*cked up three hands. Played 2 hours on Stars PLO5 and PLO10, first hour went fine, after about 1,5 hours I got tired and overplayed double suited kings with just an overpair  :rage: - okay, half a stack down the drain in PLO5. Another time I overplayed acies, which costed me 2 $. Okay, I really should take a break when I cannot fully concentrate anymore. Could take two nice pots on PLO10, but that was just enough for a mini-winning of +2,50 $ ... well...pretty break-evenish. My bad.

It's November 20, you know what that means! :f_love:

It's our favorite grindette's birthday! :f_drink: :f_drink: :f_drink:

Happy 6 1/2th birthday, Primrose!
Remember, guys - she's a puppy, so dog years count. Maybe she'll convert it to human years for us later today for reference, but it doesn't really matter.

All the best wishes from your friend and fellow troll. :f_love:

I hope you're having a terrific birthday, with many more to come. :f_drink:

Review and future plans

Birthdays are always good for reviews and making future plans. So this one here is about poker of course.

For those who do not know my old blog: I started in 2016 as a SnG/MTT-grindette. In 2018 I encountered a terrible, horrible, ego- and soul-shattering downswing. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 which made the mental game even more difficult. So, I thought, I can´t manage the mental game and went recreational SnG/MTT-player. Traffic at SnGs decreased month by month and so i thought I go fully MTT-player. But that was not only a HUGE mental game- but also a time problem. MTTs take at least 3 hours, mostly more, depending on the number of players and the structure. For me SNGs but especially MTTs became more and more frustrating and eventually I decided that SnG/MTT is just not for me: I go CG!

First, I started with Holdem CGs but very quickly found out that I find them boring as heck. :f_mad: So why does it have to be Holdem? I remembered that I always had big fun playing Omaha and decided to play PLO-CG recreationally. I had NEVER EVER thought that I could manage the mental game in PLO-CGs WAY better than in Holdem SnG/MTTs. So: After playing just recreationally for a while, I think I´m ready to build a BR with PLO-CG. Well, I already did, but kind of unintentionally. :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

Let´s build intentionally a BR now.

Current BR is: 909,6 $

Partypoker fortunately sent me my money, so I put my side-BR on Stars now. Have 600 $ on Unibet and 309,6 $ on Stars.
As soon as I can play on Unibet I will do that, I got my account in the wrong currency, so the support is taking care of that problem.

Decided to fully focus on PLO CGs, playing PLO4/PLO5 and PLO10 on Unibet (as soon as it´s possible) and Pokerstars.

Not sure if I´m gonna start another BR-challenge (like earlier with SnG/MTTs), but at least: Let´s build the BR up! _cool:_thumbsup:

No, you're not! :f_love:

Best of luck with your bankroll building plans. :f_grin: As you know, I've been following your PLO progress ever since you got started in this format, and I'm impressed with your progress. Looks like cash games suit you well too (opposite case for me).

Birthday donk :f_ugly:

Played PLO10 on Stars and a little PLO5. My game at the beginning was bad. Was not really concentrated and of course, was not my A-game. Because it´s my Birthday, I don´t have to play like a donk - do I? :f_ugly: Anyway, I started with donking off one stack. Woohooo, great, good job Prim! :f_ugly: Pulled myself together then and the second stack I lost was at least not my fault. Lost with a full house vs trips on the river. The rest went pretty crappy with missed flops and turns/rivers I really DID NOT wanna see. :f_ugly: Only at the end of my session my luck seemed to turn and I could take a stack with a full house and one stack with quads 7777 vs full house on PLO5, then some small pots and that was pretty much it.

Came out with 1,5 stacks down, -15 $, but could have minimized my loss by playing a bit better. :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

Trolls at the FT!!!!

Saturday is (troll-)fun-day and even though I´m not a big MTT player anymore, once per week I can manage it. :f_ugly: Played a 2.20 $ PLO MTT (500 $ Gtd. or so) and a 2.20 $ PLO8 MTT PKO on Stars and of course together with Harrier our "Troll Freeroll". This time our MTT-session was successful!! Harrier and I were all the time equal in chips and both made it to the FT. We busted back to back, Harrier place 5th, I placed 4th.

But also PLO and PLO8 were pretty successful today, made it ITM in both tourneys. In PLO8 I´m a total fish but somehow managed to knock out 4 people and came ITM. But eventually of course I busted with a HUGE donk move, by playing actually PLO hi :f_ugly: :f_ugly: and then running HU (I was BTN, raised pf first in with Q♥ Q♣ 8♥ 8♣) and flopped the flush in hearts. There was a low hand possible and I had nothing better to do than jamming with my Q-high flush into A-high flush.

In PLO emergency-jammed (was short) with trips, had double suited rundowns 7♥ 8♦ 9♥ 6♦ and the flop went 8-T-8. Unfortunately jammed into TTxx and that was it. But at least ITM.

A nice winning today of +25 € _thumbsup:

Unspectacular but hopefully negative

Where were I? Homer and I traveled to another country for my father-in-laws funeral. Today early in the morning we got tested for COVID and we hope of course we are negative. It´s not the disease that I fear but the isolation! I miss my friends and family. :f_frown: I don´t want even more isolation. I know I will survive COVID, but I will suffer horribly from the isolation.

Anyways, played a small session of about 1,5 hours CG today on Stars. Played PLO5 and PLO10 but as my todays vegan Thursday meals - it was unspectacular. I could double up my stack once, could take a couple of pots and had to fold on many turns and rivers. Well, on two of them I made bad (but not so costly) calls, because got the blockers wrong :f_ugly:

What an unspectacular day: Finished of course break-evenish with -1,5 $ :f_ugly: :f_ugly: :f_ugly:

Cross your fingers for me, guys and let´s hope my test on COVID will be negative.

MTT? CG?? or what?

Couldn´t decide what to play. :f_ugly: Thought I could play a 2.20 $ PLO-PKO but then changed my mind. Opened the PLO10 and PLO5 tables on Stars and decided to play about 2 hours CG (as always). Well, couldn´t play exactly 2 hours, after 1 hour 45 min I got tired. :f_ugly: But anyway, enjoyed a nice session with nice action. At the beginning I didn´t go very well, lost half a stack on a set AAA (which I had to fold on river). But then it went well. Could take a nice winning of +23 $ and give my BR a little boost.

CG was a good decision. Cheat-day is tomorrow _grin:
