Well, you were the 3rd party candidate, what did you expect? :f_biggrin:

At least you collected over 2.2M votes from some stoned college kids. :f_thumbsup: That's actually better than the results of Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen this year, who had around 1.58M national votes last time I checked.

All betting sites have paid out the election bets, I think it's VERY safe to say that Biden won. For Trump to win, I think there is close to 0% chance. If there had been some kind of fraud, there would be at least SOME evidence by now. Hard to see that there would have been enough unclear things for court to void some voting tickets, to turn the result.

I agree, but it's still weird for those betting sites to pay out any bets when the results have not officially been confirmed yet. The media having called the winner is about as relevant as my next-dour neighbor having called the winner, from a legal point of view.

There is some evidence, and it's being investigated. Not to mention that "some kind of fraud" occurs in pretty much any election if we define it broadly enough. Some irregularities will definitely come to light, but as I said, I highly doubt it's enough to overturn the results. It should still be investigated, regardless of the winner.

For most sites in the election bet rules it says that winner is the one who gets most electors during the election night, or until there isn't enough doubt whom the winner is.

Cos we might need to wait for the official results until December.

Had an idea, why not try PLO50. Ok, top set in 3bet pot, opponent raises my cbet. He has 1 outer and runner runner. Won the pot.

Damn.

A bit later again top set in 3bet pot, I cbet and opponent raises. He has only runner runner, we run it twice. He wins both.

Fuck.

Flopping top2, OESD and flush draw. Cbet, opponent calls. Turn is a blank, I pot he calls. River pairs the turn, we check and he was drawing to runnner runner trips on the flop. And got it.

This is getting out of hand now.

A bit later top set in 3bet pot, opponent calls pot sized cbet on AJ5r. Turn is 7, I bet pot and he calls pot is $100 and I have $3 behind. River is 9, and he shoves, I puke and call. He had 6789. Called flop pot bet in 3bet pot with nothing but runner runner straight draw.

Kinda had to close the client at that point.

Oh boy, that sounds nasty. I had such a streak on Unibet too, lost several times with top set and even flopped nut-str8 vs runner runner and naked gutshots or naked flush draws, or runner-runner trips. PLO is sometimes just extremely nasty.

It is. Especially when those come like a cluster bomb. Still day ended up only 1 buyin down, so it wasn't all downhill.

Lol, almost made a post that the tide has turned as I got few good sessions. But today dropped me back, -8 buyins in an hour. Opponents had a habit to just crush me on 3bet/4bet flops, and then winning both runs when I was 80/20 favorite few times.

And this was the gem. I 3bet, flop is K93r and I bet with KK, opponent calls with TT87. Lol. Turn is 7, I bet and he calls, leaving few bb's behind. And river is J, rest goes in. Well played.

I was planning to stream today, but I will take a break and skip poker for few days.

We are planning a major superdeluxehyper Christmas stream with Lem0n, stay tuned for more info!

Dafuq is this dejavu?

3bet pot versus [censored] finnish donkeymonkey. I have AAJJ, flop is J95r. I bet 75%, he calls. Turn is A, I pot and he calls. River is 2 and we have about pot sized bet behind (started about 200bb deep). I lose only to weird 43xx and he is really call happy so I shove. He has A643, winning 400bb pot with insanely bad call on the flop and turn. Almost identical to the previous set vs backdoors earlier.

Must be nice to be him, plays a ton to make it high on the leaderboard. EV is definitely crashing for him, he has a habit to get it in with worse hand versus me but sucking out a lot. Wish I could run like him.

To be fair, it's not all bad beats.

Spoiler

I bet the flop, and he raised. We are a bit deep (almost 300bb), so I just called to see the safe turn. Turn is perfect, and we get it in. He bet the turn and snap called my raise, looks like online poker is not quite dead yet.

I first read that last hand as you being bottom player and was thinking wtf?! :)

That AAJJ hand is totally absurd... Quite a run good if that guy is not losing heavily with that sort of play. Well had something similar today on sng with people cold calling 3bets with Q2o and cracking my pocket pairs.

I think it's the brainfart factor. Normally plays somewhat decent PLO, but does really ambitious bluffs and calls downs every now and then. And then has those "F'ck odds, I am gambling to stack him off!" moments. And he is not the only one, quite many regs have those.

To create poker related content here, I snapped this pic today:

Spoiler

Opponent made weird non-pot 3bet pre, flop goes check-check. Turn he bets small, and I raise. EZ game.

If he had the flush draw, I would suppose him to bet that very often as it should have either a made hand value or a straight draw with it. Small bet on the turn looks more like very thin value bet/blocker bet or scary bluff. I don't have blockers to flush, but still he is going to fold at least half of his hands there.

Being Kyyberi. Needing to rake few dollars to get the Fish Buffet spin. Getting it in with top set vs middle set and underpair, losing to runner runner quads. Very next hand versus the same player, middle set vs top set in 4bet pot. Solid 4bet with QQ82. Also lost one stack in 5bet pot, opponent 4bet-called with 8742r. Rainbow!!!!

Then the tide turned a little and my hands held in all-ins. Ended up 1 buyin in profit, and Buffet spin was average one. Felt like super rungood!

Looks like PVI kicked in at Olybet too, so my time at GG seems to be over. Have to calculate a little, as initial rake at Partypoker is just sick at PLO25. 5% but the cap is at 8bb or 12bb. At GG the rake is 5bb, but cap is 3bb at PLO25 and 2bb at PLO50. Looks like the rake is something like 12bb/100 at GG, and 16bb/100 at Party. Rought estimation is that at GG I would get 30% back and 60% at Party. Games are a bit softer at GG. Decisions, decisions... Or then I play both, as games run slightly at different times.

Here is one example how you can increase your EV in Big Hand Jackpot. There was some discussion in my stream whether it is EV0, -EV or +EV for me. If everyone played same hands in same way, it would be EV0 for all. As all money collected would be given away and no one had edge. But then again bad players play more often pocket pairs, overplay small sets and chase more straight flushes, that they get jackpots more often than good players. On the other hand, good player can increase his EV like here:

Spoiler

Opponent was about 60bb shortie. I 3bet and we get to the flop. To get the jackpot, you have to invest 15bb before you make your hand. My 3bet was around 11bb so I was missing 4bb's. With quads the kicker is from the table, so at the flop my hand was KKKK3. If turn was 4 or higher, my hand would improve. As that is very likely, it would be great to get to that 15bb investment before the turn. So I made 4bb bet into a pot of 22bb's. Opponent called. Turn was 3, which didn't improve my hand. I check, opponent bet small and I call. River improved my hand to KKKK6 so I locked the Jackpot. Easy shove here.

If I had bet bigger on the flop and opponent would have folded (which is VERY likely) I would have missed 80bb Jackpot. Or if I had bet on the turn myself, opponent would have folded and I would have missed Jackpot. These kind of plays increase my EV in Big Hand Jackpot, so I think it counters the wide hand selection of bad players. EV0 for me in the end.

Christmas. Damn.

Have you ever heard grown ups telling each other "let's make a deal that adults don't buy presents to each other"? For some reason I hear it every Christmas. Adults are making deals to focus the spending on the kids. And I am REALLY bad in accepting those deals.

My approach is that Christmas presents are gratuitous. If I buy you a present, it doesn't mean I am expecting you to buy me one. Every time someone proposed me that deal, my answer was that I will buy what ever I want, to whom ever I want. And if I don't get a lot of presents, I am totally fine with that. But if I have the opportunity to surprise someone and bring some joy to their world, I will do it.

Now my relatives don't even bother to talk to me about those deals, lol. But every Christmas is the same, I like to use a lot of excess/poker money to surprise family and friends. Last year my fiancee got mad at me as I bought her a laptop (that she needed!), as she had a deal that adults don't buy stuff to each other. I just said that I hadn't made that deal and laughed.

Same thing this year, she tried to propose it but the look on my face said it all. So I went and bought her a violin (she tried one at friend's place and thought it would be nice if we had one too), and just now I ordered electrical fireplace (it had a huge discount!). I have no idea where that fireplace is going to be placed, or if anyone even likes it. But that will be a total surprise for sure!

We are still 3,5 weeks to Christmas, if I get some rungood in poker there might be even more huge surprises!

I have a problem where I see something I know someone would like, so I buy it for them, but I can't wait for Christmas to give it to them.

Also, I tend to buy practical things, like tools, utensils and useful electronic things. (Hint: Never buy your gf/fiancée/wife a vacuum cleaner)

I'm learning though.
Last year, for example, I bought a whole pile of lovely things throughout the year, and stashed them away.
I didn't find them until around January.

<sigh>
