I would check behind.
4way you are probably never good, and you can still improve (cheap) on later streets.

What are you trying to accomplish with a bet?

ranges are loose so lots of unpaired hands would fold giving massive combined FE. overpairs might call and stack off on a fav turn so I have implied odds, villains are too passive and wont be raising marginal hands.

when you say 4way i will be never good vs 3 players u already assume that villain is going to raise the flop. this is rarely the case I´d assume but it is true if somebody is going to gii here and I will be never in good shape but committed.

That would be awesome! _thumbsup:

I already had this in mind but finally did not get my ass up..

Here is how the hand played out:

Spoiler

Flop: (38.5 BB, 4 players) 9♣ 5♥ 3♥
BB checks, MP checks, CO checks, Hero bets 28.8 BB, BB raises to 124.9 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 61.7 BB

Turn: (219.5 BB, 2 players) 6♣

River: (219.5 BB, 2 players) K♦

Hero mucks J♦ A♥ 9♠ Q♠ (One Pair, Nines)
(Pre 54%, Flop 35%, Turn 0%)
BB shows 8♣ 7♣ 5♦ 9♦ (Straight, Nine High)
(Pre 46%, Flop 65%, Turn 100%)
BB wins 212.9 BB

Had a nearly identical 4-way pot today were I went broke too..

Check or bet small and fold to a check raise. Your nutflush blocker is worthless, the board texture does not favor your 3 bet range. You don’t have all the straights in your range. Your opponents have including all the flush draws and 1 pair plus. Besides that you use a very polarized sizing with a medium strong holding with almost no backdoor equity. It’s better to use a smaller sizing when you want to bet with a higher frequency and medium strong holdings. You level yourself and commit yourself and made it even worse by stacking off. No offence but you go broke when you play your hands like that.

thank you for your comment. I basically agree with everything you said. Not sure about that leveling stuff though, did not had too much thoughts at all in that spot.

dont worry, I am pretty sure I won´t go broke there (just moved up to PLO10 from PLO5). if I have to, I would move down before this happens. with proper bankroll management you can avoid the risk of going broke. ;)
