Just few hands on SB and had not do anything weird. BB seems solid player. I open raise BU, got both blinds to call and flop went checked. I think I should just bet half pot on turn? Well I did check with plan to call non heart river.

Turn comes non heart but its bit ugly anyway as Jx can definitely value bet. At least with decent kicker. I folded but felt pretty nitty. I can definitely have good amount of Jx I would play is same way to call here but considering pot odds this fold still feels wrong.

I like betting the turn small. It makes your life easy and you don't get outdrawn for free and usually save money against trips+
As played, relatively easy fold on river against most opponents

I think you played it fine, he can have some slow played full houses as well as Jx or even weak Ax that played it this way.

Hey thats me :)

I think it's pretty rare to see bluff from SB 3way here and with such small sizing, but at the same time it's not too bad place to try it when no one seems too interested in this smallish pot.

I think people will show A/J way more often than creative bluff, unless he is one of those "more active" kind of opponents.

You don't have Axxx there almost ever, and you don't have Jxxx that often either. If you fold KK on the river you end up overfolding a lot. When ever you end up in situation where you are folding the top of your range, you should really focus on how you got there and what info you have to justify the line.

Either bet the turn or call the river imo. I would bet the turn always.
