Is there a normal visa / mastercard / skrill I just have a euro bill so I'm wondering which is better for me because sending euro to ggpoker isn't possible?

Hello

I am a new player of ggpoker and so far I am enjoying my experience, however I do have one issue.

I've started multitabling and I would like to increase my tables from 4 to 6 but there is a problem. I love hotkeys and I want my tables to be tiled and visible (so that I don't lose track of the action) however the hotkeys only work on the table that the mouse hovers over. So if I tile tables I would have to move the mouse over to each table to put it into focus before I can use the hotkeys.

The table automatically pops up when ready for action, so is there a way to make it automatically get the focus (with border) and accept hot keys regardless of mouse position so I don't have to move the mouse?

When 4 tabling I overlapped the tables and rested my mouse on the center point so I could see all four tables while just using hotkeys but clearly that won't work with 6 tables.

Can you help me?

Hi ,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :welcome:

A quick review of all the settings GGPoker has to offer leaves little hope that this can be done

However, if you're comfortable with scripting, Autohotkey can do what you need: In this case it will put the mouse over the active table.
That way, when the table activates, the mouse will move over it, and your hotkeys will work.

There is a warning though -- and this is why I don't allow tables to grab focus:
If you're about to use a hotkey, and a different table grabs focus, your hotkey will go to the wrong table.

I haven't actually multi-tabled on GGPoker for a while, so I haven't observed the behaviour you describe, but I'm a bit surprised that a table can activate, yet not accept the hotkey.

All the best,
VS

Thank you for the warm welcome Vorpal!

This is very interesting and I actually have autohotkey installed but only to remap the right click button on my touchpad because my laptop is so old and broken... like a life support system. Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to script something like this, but I suspect there will be problems as you say.

When I overlap 4 tables I don't have a problem with using hotkeys on the wrong table. If I'm on table 3 and table 1 becomes ready followed by table 2, table 1 will wait for me to finish with table 3 then pop and wait for me to input, then having done that table 2 will appear. So there does appear to be a queue system that works well the only problem is the mouse has to overlap them!

I hope to find a comfortable way to multitable because the leaderboards have such high scores and I wish to compete somehow. I guess they probably cascade their tables but I would really like to tile them or I might get confused.

hmmm,
Cascade seems like it could work -- you'll need to keep your eye on the title bar though.

In the long-ago past I used to stack tables but that was on PartyPoker.
As each table became active it took focus and came to the top of the stack

I don't know how that would work with GG though

I'm going to try to cascade tables next time I play! And I'll memory link the title bars and get used to it, any other advice you have will be greatly appreciated.

I 6 tabled using a strange formation of overlapping different sized tables. I must say it is difficult to keep up! I fear that I must 8 table to be competitive, a daunting task but I shall try.

I don't want to bug people too much but I do have some other questions I havn't found the answerto and if it's not too much trouble I'll post them here.

Confusion with the fish buffet. I have managed to keep ranking up (yay me!) but at some point I won't be able to. It says if you don't make the amount required target to rank up you get demoted but this is what confuses me.

If I'm short on the target, but made enough that was required for my current rank do I not get to keep my current rank, and a spin from that rank? Surely it can't be that if you arn't able to rank up you get nothing but a demotion and 10% back, or is it?

And quickly does C$ ever expire and is it safe too keep for another time or should I always turn it to cash immediately?

Sorry! I know you're not ggpoker, thank you kindly for all your help though. Much appreciated. Really.

And I wish you good luck at the tables you play. Run it up my friend.

Hi. On April 29, I created a GG Poker account through pokerstrategy.com, but I still haven't been credited with the first strategy points. (I followed the instructions and also used the bonus code POKERSTRATEGY.) Any ideas? =)

Hi magdalena1964,
That does seem like a long time.
We usually suggest waiting 2-3 business days.

If you're concerned, I suggest that you create a customer support ticket Follow the link then click the beside "Open a new ticket"
Give them all the details you can, such as your username, the date when you joined and so on.

Customer service has access to account information, and should be able to correct any problems.

Cheers,

Hey everyone.
I have a couple of questions.
1) may I use GG and PS to make a multi-ruming.(to combine each other and to even have a session on each other at he same time)
2) if I can do it, the second question is:
Is it possible hud to be turned on during my session on GG or it can lead me to a ban.
Thanks.)

Hey Elis,

1) Yes it's no problem to play on GGPoker and PokerStars (or any other room for that matter)
2) No, you cannot use the HUD when playing on GGPoker as using such software is not allowed when playing on GGPoker

Hi,

Tell me please how 1 human bean can play 14-16 000 hands at 4 rush tables 13h after the start of the rake race! And this is every day from a few people! It is very hard to achieve 2k points per hour and to not broke and/or go crazy, and we are talking for more for ridiculous amount of time! This is not human, not for 1 human at least!

Top 3-5 at micro and midd stakes are taken by cheaters and GG does nothing about it!

Thanks

Hello there!

I can definitely answer your question since I was actually playing against these guys for Leaderboard not later than 3 weeks ago until I moved up to NL25z.

They are not cheaters or bot but use a strategy that I also used to use that to be honest isn't effective and will make you lose money and hurt your progress. How I know that? I actually became friends with some of them and we exchanged Skype contact.

The strategy that they use is (at least most of them):

1) Play as fast as they can

2) Use the 1bb 85-90% open strategy (So they will open almost anything from UTG & MP for 1 bb. They will often fold BTN and CO in order to see a new hand faster to raise as soon as possible).

3) They will do that and play between 17-21 hours for one day. Then they take the next day off and then they repeat the cycle.

I've played for Leaderboard against some of them (especially peachy_keen) and it's totally not worth it to play those.

Why?

1) Not only are you gonna have to play at least for 17 hours but you will also have to play AT LEAST 15,000 hands. Considering the rake is between 8-12bb/100 at the micros that mean just to reach the top of the leaderboard you will have paid around 150$ of rake (That's if you play NL10). So even if you finish first you would still be down 20$ after receiving your prize.

2) That mean you need to also make a profit at the table to make money which you won't often tbh since your game is axed on playing as fast as you can and open as wide as you can.

These guys have been stuck at NL5-10 for months and months and they are not very good TBH. I am not saying that to judge them but what I mean is implenting that kind of strategy for leaderboard really hurt their progress. They don't spend alot of time studying their game and most of the time they open a wayyyy too wide range to get to the top of leaderboard and it's quite easy to exploit them.

What I've learned after a month of doing it is its better to just focus on playing a solid game and put as much volume as you can. For me I can play around 8-13 hours per day and I'll always end up between the 7th - 15th place which satisfy me since I'm still able to improve, get better and make some money from the leaderboard.

Trust me even if you see their names and it's always the same people that wins every 2 days you have absolutely nothing to envy them. They don't make as much money (if they even make anything) as you think.

When I was playing for leaderboard using the 1bb strategy I was getting 3100 points per hour.. It is doable but as you said hard. And you're very exploitable if you do that.

The only comfortable way is to have all tables fully overlapping. Can't use the cursor trick as I use the keyboard just for folding, mainly. Suggested to GGnetwork (they have an ideas email address) for the hotkeys to work for the active tables, and also prefolding with hotkeys per table (many fold buttons on the keyboard). You know my pain when you repeatedly have to move the cursor to another table to prefold.

So I can't find an exact answer to this, but is it possible to run your PT4 HUD strictly for pokerstars while also playing on GG at the same time.

I understand HUDS are not allowed on GG but is it possible to still run it for stars or other sites while GG tables are playing?

Thanks

I have done this, and GGPoker does not make any noises if you have PT4 open.
You're not allowed to run Equilab though -- and if you open Equilab even when not playing you get a pop-up and a warning.
Since you don't get the popup and warning when you open PT4, I conclude that they don't care.

If you're concerned though, I suggest that you ask their support directly.
