Volume it's ok .
Next 5K hands will be at NL5 only.
a little bit more about me and Poker in Portugal:)
In Portugal the field is quite short as we can only play in 2 rooms (stars and 888) which only players residing in Portugal/Spain and France can play.
That said...the problem is even bigger in terms of regular tables because in this aspect only 888 allows players from Spain....On Pokerstars at regular tables only Portuguese can play
In addition to all this there are 2 Poker teams in Portugal that completely dry up the field ...each one of them has about 100 players (which I think is like 80% or more of the field)..so what left ?? .. ..either recreational or they don't belong to any team like me (I never wanted to join any team due to some factors such as :
1 - I'm already close to 50's , and I don't have the patience to go to a team
2 - married and so on
3 - I have a daily job
4- in teams we have to play only cash or just mtts ..we can't play both ...
5 - already have a boss, I don't need to have another one in my spare time
Having said all that, it is possible that the challenge will take a little longer than expected
But i love POKER and it's my passion and hobby so we're in the fight :f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup:

That sounds like a horrid situation.
I hope that things improve!

I would focus on NL2 only until you get some decent winnig sample despite that, you have bankroll big enough to play higher. Anyway keep rolling!
Let's go STUDY ![]()
after 27K hands at NL5 (regular tables ) at 2.22 bb/100 i think....i need to fix some leaks.
LEt's start to see which hands i win and lost more $$$...and let's think if something wrong ![]()

ok..i think AJsuited KQsuited and off suited , KJsuited and KTsuited should be "green" .....i willl review this type of hands.
:f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup::f_thumbsup:
Ideally every hand that has VPIP should be "green" or else you would increase your winrate by folding it pre.
Good luck!
One of the side benefits of playing the suited connectors etc is that other players see that you do, and are more willing to tackle you when you have good hands.
Tight players -- well nits really -- suffer because they never get action when the play. The best that they can hope for is that they can 3Bet and pick up a bit more than just the blinds.

HAND 1)
Board is loaded with made straights or flushes. Very had for me to fold in this spot, but I think that it is the correct play. Because the board is so drawy, it is a great spot to bluff, but at NL 5 do player bluff such spots often?
HAND 2)
This one isn't so clear. If the check OTT was to induce a bluff OTR, it succeeded.
If it is because you wanted to see a cheap showdown it failed (sort of)
We're asked to put 1.15 into a pot of 2.43
So we get 3.58 out if we win, for a cost of 1.15, so our exact pot odds are 3.11:1
Let's make it easy for the next part, and round this off to 3:1
We exactly break even if we win once out of every 4 times -- or 25% of the time [1]
So if opponent can bluff here more than once out of 4, we'll win long term.
I apologize if you knew all this already.
I realized I had forgotten it, so I had to do it from scratch.
[1] the exact number for this hand is 24.3%
