Hello everyone!

As you may have already read on our page, Team PokerStrategy.com member Nazgul managed to qualify for WSOP Main Event Day 5 and he is officially in the money. Also, he was available for an interview right after his accomplishment.

Day 5 of the Main Event is going to start soon and Nazgul is ranked 56th (840,000 chips), way above the average chip count and we will try to keep you up to date in this thread. Best of luck to Nazgul and the other PokerStrategists still in the race!

Hi guys!

Vhallee was already kind enough to introduce you all to this thread. I'm going to do live updating throughout the day, focusing on or Team PokerStrategy.com player Tim "Nazgul" Kahlmeyer.

Felix Osterland aka LawDoc, busted in place 321. Superb achievement and congratulations to him.

Blinds are currently 5,000-10,000 with a 1,000 ante. Only 274 players still remain out of the original 6,498 that started. Nazgul is currently guaranteed $27,469.

Nazgul is in the Small blind, action is folded around to him and he raises to 30,000. The big blind calls and they see a flop. Qd8d6s, Nazgul continuation bets of 40,000 and Sam raises to 140,000. Nazgul lays it down.

Not much going on at the moment. Action is a lot of raising preflop with all the other players folding, not seeing a flop. Currently we are not allowed to enter the televised area. No Media access beyond that point! So we can't provide action pictures unfortunately.

Nazgul just raised it up UTG to 25,000 and everyone folded. He picks up the blinds.

[14:30] Scott Buller just busted from Nazgul's table. The action was a preflop all in with Scott's queens against a pair of Jacks. However jacks managed to turn trips and even runner quads to eliminate Scott, who was already short stacked, from the table.

First update: Nazgul drew a really tough table! There is Betrand "Elky" Grospellier, who was chipleader during day three and finished day four with well over a million in chips. There was Andy Black, but he busted already. Rofl Slotboom, famous among Dutch players. Also at the table is Jeff Shulman.

This table is so strong that the ESPN choose it as their televised table. This means during the broadcasting of the World Series of Poker you will all get to see Nazgul play poker and his holecards! He's currently wearing a Team PokerStrategy.net shirt. It's however so cold that he's also wearing a yellow sweater on top of it. He tries to still have the logo in view though.

Andy Black already busted from the table and Nazgul current's stack is close to a million. He won a couple of small pots to increase his stack.

More info throughout the thread in live updates!

[15:30] There's an all in at Nazgul's table. Randy opened from the Cut-off and Rofl Slotboom reraised it all in with AQ for an additional 138,000. Randy makes the call with pocket sixes and they see a flop. 5h,3d,7h. Randy still in the lead. Turn is a 9d. River is a 7 of clubs and Rolf Slotboom is eliminated from the tournament.

UTG+1 opened, Randy called his raise and Nazgul made the call from the small blind.

We got three way flop action. Th/7h/Qd. Nazgul checks and UTG+1 bets, Randy folds and Nazgul calls. Turn comes Tc and Nazgul checks it again. UTG+1 checks back and the river comes A of clubs. Nazgul leads 75,000 on the river and UTG+1 is tanking!

UTG+1 whose name I will look up soon made the call and Nazgul showed AQ for top two pair and UTG+1 mucked his hand. Nazgul scoops a big pot!
