Yeah probably so :)

We have three apple trees so it's every year workload to use those to something.

So first two weeks of Omaha is behind. Some data here:

That is prerakeback result. I think it was around 2.8k€ on two week mark. Now it's around 2.95k€. Have been playing now more 50/50 split between PLO25 and PLO50.

Today first session was total crusher. Like 200€ up in 2 hours. I tend to play day session from 1pm to 3pm and then have something to eat.

Second session was ok otherwise but there was one maniac that got lucky few times. One one pot he called pot size cbet with just bottom pair and no draw in 3bet pot and called turn pot shove with same but gutshot as well. Managed to hit weak two pair that was enough. I had overpair, flush draw and gutshot myself.

Biggest lost pot was almost 200bb deep in PLO50 versus same guy. He open raised MP, BU 3bet, I find AAT2ss (suit to ace) on SB and cold 4bet. MP call , BU 5bet and at this point I don't like the spot that much as we both have AAxx with BU and MP is likely favourite. But I just have to shove with 40bb invested already and it's 3way all-in for around 255€ pot.

BU had AAQ2 with three club and MP had some 9753ss with 5 high suit. Had over 40% equity so he was indeed ahead preflop. Flop came T75 and he holds. But yeah quite unfortunate spot where I can't really play other way imo. BU range have likely decent amount of non AAxx hands as MP was indeed playing absurd ranges.

Well day still ended with some 90€ or so profit.

Oh well it was nice session I recorded. Unfortunately audio settings seems to be not so good cutting my voice at times. Have to check those before trying new one.

I have a T-Shirt that says, "I Never Bluff".
I wear it when I'm streaming so opponents will fold to my raises

It's actually quite common to see people probably not understanding that if board has trips you need pocket pair to have full house. Though have to say I have forgotten that few times myself in checked down pots.

Interesting hand today about using shortstack to your advantage. So everyone involved had played loose so far. SB had also been very aggro postflop. I decided to squeeze preflop and get BU and SB to call. Flop is monster hit with top pair and nut draws.

With BU SPR is like 0.2 so versus him my range has pretty much no folds against. But my main concern in spot is SB with SPR 3 against him. So I decided to trap here by checking expecting BU to shove his stack in with almost any piece of flop. Now when that happens SB will be in interesting spot. For him same applies than to me. He cant really fold almost anything versus BU but he has me behind. Its actually such dirty spot to be in. I think SB should have mix of call and raises at least if he assumes my check range to be protected. If I rarely trap though he will have tremendous fe versus me.

So SB goes for iso shove and I can spring my trap. Out of curiosity checked equities in play:

Spoiler

So 60% in main pot and 85% in "side pot" which I luckily won.

Tested out party account if its still active. Indeed it was though I had to choose nick name which is used on tables. No idea when I have played there previously. Anyway did that as won that ticket to some mtt which was raffled moment ago here. One tabled PLO5 fastforward (as account had 8€) for 20 minutes or so. 3 buy in profit though there was one set over set spot in my favor. Seems like there is no hh in party either or at least PT4 was warning so.

In unibet first session tiny bit down but second session made day over 100€ on profit side. Funnily there was player named "ImNotFish" or so who called flop with plain backdoor draws and made straight on river. Did not make me convinced of his nick statement... :)

Imagine if you were bluffing with T8s somehow there, would've been sick call down by opponent :rage:

But wanted to add there's an option "show handstrenght" in Unibet application. I see really no reason not to use it, of course not very helpfull most of the time but it just might prevent one or two hand misreads down the line saving some money.

Watched part of that stream, keep crushing the tables :profit:

Will post third week result tomorrow. Not as much hands this week I think but very nice results with 800€ profit roughly. Have started to play mostly PLO50 limit now. Does help that rake is considerably smaller than on plo25. I think cap was same 3€ on both limits.

PS: Well I rechecked so cap is same but rake percent goes up from 3 to 5.5. So basically 3€ cap in plo25 require 100€ (400bb) pot and on plo50 it's 55€ pot (110bb). In practice big pots are then raked less in plo50 (6bb Vs 12bb) but smaller ones more.

In plo100+ cap stay same but rake goes to 6% but at that point cap is reached very quickly. So like 50bb pot in plo100. Well rake wise plo50 seems kind of bad one but not interested to take any plo100 shots at this point.

Ok so report done on report thread. Last session of the week was around 110€ down with some nasty suckouts but cant whine really as week overall was hot run.

One of biggest pots in that session that ended happily for hero was this one. I open MP, BU high vpip guy called and SB went for squeeze. We both called. I flop big, SB pot SPR 2 and I snap shove. Standard from my part. Reason I thought to talk about this one was SB hand selection. So I have seen this opponent quite a few times so probably some form of reg. What always amazes me is does people think this type of hand is good 3bet?

3bet game in omaha is really about dominating villains ranges so when we get to these low SPR spots where money go often in you will have better two pairs, better top/over pairs, better draws and even better combination of those. Hand like QJ97 is reasonable open raise from most positions but its not really dominating almost any hands. Also its hand type that rarely hit super strong. But it will quite often flop something what happened in this hand. With SPR 2 I would question if villain should still just x-f fold. Its one that hits my call range versus 3bet pretty good.

This time villain got his money in with 14% equity. Of course I hit really strong but I could have hand like QJT8 without flush draw and that would also have 60% equity. Or hand like AdTd9c8c would also be ahead with 56%

But yeah this type of stuff seems to be quite common which I obviously dont mind. Though maybe there was some tilt going on as villain sit out after this one.

Another hand type lot of people seem to way overvalue are double suited trash hands. When you see some squeeze KhJd7h5d type hand versus UTG open and CO call you know their range is all over the board. Now nasty side in these opponents is that they can hit kind of every board but again rarely in strong way. Especially if flop is decently coordinated.

Anyway I thought to post nastiest (and biggest) lost hand on yesterday session. These are always pain in the bum bum to face :)

I would as default fold this pre but why I decided to flat was how soft table was. CO opening and BB were what I would define as very good customers. Flop I would just call top 2 probably without flush draw but with it I definitely dont mind potting. SB donk bettor folds and CO calls. Turn is total blank so I pot and get call. When I saw river I was like "oh man this is not good" and indeed CO donk shoves his remaining 24bb into 210bb pot. So I know he has practically always straight but I suppose for this price its still call when we need to be good 10% of time.

Now villain play can be viewed as ok I suppose but the big danger is if his flush draw is not alive. I checked this with oracle and versus my hand on flop he has 21,6% and on turn when 8 give him 2 extra outs its 20% and course if I have like dry QQ that doesnt block his outs he will have 43%

So I think his play was not bad overall. Though I have to say that dry QQ is best case scenario more or less and I think my range will be quite heavily on Qx+high flush draw type like AdQdTs5c etc. Bottom and mid sets are unlikely. Plus with dry small set like maybe 9944 I would probably lean toward flop call to see turn in position and then aim to get money in on safe turns. In position its pretty nice option with hand that doesnt have great playability overall.

It's not a bluff, when you have the best hand. What pocket pairs you were targeting with that bet?
